This is the perfect size for my 6-month-old. I was looking for safe ( not dubious Chinese "safety standards) wooden grasping toys that would not break the bank and was so pleased to find this and one other. I have previously bought Haba toys for my older kids and have always been impressed. This is one of a pair of the first infant toys I've bought from them, and my high expectations were more than met. He is not a gentle guy, and this has stood up to REPEATED bashing on our wood floor, our wooden dining table and just about anything else he can bang it on. The balls are SOLID. He did damage to my cheap-y pine lap table and the toy is completely unscathed.He hasn't had any teeth erupt, but he does gnaw quite a bit on it and the finish is perfect. No chips or peeling in the clear coat or the paint.Because I have been offered free items and even full or partial refunds in exchange for positive reviews on items (Chinese) from amazon and the reviews are becoming less and less trustworthy, let me say Haba has offered me NOTHING. I'm a mother of four looking for quality, not quantity in toys for my kids. I'm not wealthy, so I can't afford the high end stuff. Haba has delivered every single time. I am genuinely pleased as punch and will be ordering a few more of their infant toys because they are such wonderful quality.

My daughter loved this Haba clutching toy as an infant in 2011, and I also purchased one for my infant granddaughter who is now 2 years old. Although this toy is made as an infant toy, it also works great as a fidget toy for older children and even adults. My daughter is now 11 years old and still uses it as a stress relieving fidget toy. The wood is VERY smooth and the colors are bright.

My 10 month old loves this toy! She plays with it for long time and loves examining it. She also likes banging it on things. It is durable and I like knowing it is non-toxic, so when she eats it, I am not worried, but also, nothing comes off anyway. She beats it on tables and chews on it and there is not scratch! To me that is worth the money. Also the colors are vibrant and a great way to teach her about colors. It has also entertained adults as well. It is just fun to play with in your hands. I think she will enjoy it for a long time.

I love this toy so much I wish it was mine! It feels super good to hold and play with. The colors are vibrant. The baby loves to hold it look at the colors and teeth on it. It keeps really clean with a quick wipe down of a wet washcloth. I love all the haba toys, I feel good, knowing that my baby is safe using them as they are made from nontoxic materials in Germany.

But keep away from the dog - won't be easy - ours chewed up two of these.

I bought this for my six month old son. The balls are just the right size for him to pick up in his little hands, which help to build his clutching and grasping motor skills. He will crawl/worm his way to the toy, pick it up, and roll onto his back holding it to study it. The colors are bright and appealing, and the toy itself seems well made. The balls move about on the cord, so they aren't fixed into one particular shape. I think this adds interest for the baby, since he is able to manipulate the shape a bit. If you're looking for bells and whistles, this isn't the toy for you; however, if you're looking for a toy to cultivate your baby's imagination, this is a good one with which to start. I would give it 5 stars overall, but I found a cheaper version of this toy (with more balls) made by a different company shortly after I purchased this one.

This is a well made, beautifully colorful toy. I love that it is made with non-toxic paint and is safe for baby because babies love to put everything in their mouth. This toy is a little heavy, since it is solid wood, so it would probably be a little difficult to handle for a small infant. I'm thinking 6+ months, maybe even a little older. My little guy is 15 months and is obsessed with balls. He loves this toy because it is lots of "balls" strung together and he loves playing with it and throwing it around. It is very durable and after lots of play, I see no noticeable signs of wear. I'm very pleased and would totally recommend this toy to someone looking for a safe, fun toy for their baby.

Es ist ein super schöner Greifling.Er ist aus Holz, was ich persönlich sehr mag.Die Farben sind wirklich sehr schön und es ist mal ein anderer Greifling, als wie man sie sonst kennt. Meine Maus hat ihn sehr gemocht, selbat jetzt, als sie etwas älter ist, mag sie ihn noch. Aber wohl eher einfach so zum spielen :)Er tut auf jeden Fall was er soll u.a. die Motorik fördern. Ich empfehle ihn sehr gerne weiter und würde ihn wieder kaufen. Auch als Geschenk eine tolle Idee.

Schöner Greifling, mit dem sich Baby gerne beschäftigt. Bisher farbecht.

Kräftige, schöne Farben, gut zu greifen und ein Spielzeug was in jede Wickeltasche passt.Für zahnende Kinder auch gekühlt ganz attraktiv.Ein Stern abzug, da sie sich nicht desinfizieren lassen. Lediglich mit warmen Wasser und milder Seife kann man sie reinigen.

Super spannend zum erkunden meine Tochter hatte es nun haben wir es verschenkt regt den Greifreflex an und kann auch super oral erforscht werden 😃
