Amazing results on my evergreens one year later
I have been gardening for decades. For my evergreens, including Norway spruces, blue spruces, and white pines, I have used Holytone for evergreens, or fertilizer plant spikes for evergreens, for years with nice results in tree growth and color (including the blue spruces). I have used a seperate systemic insecticide (which is put on the ground and soaked up through the roots). However, I have been stunned by the results from this product from Bayer (yes, the aspirin people). Whereas I have mostly won the tree-disease battle over the years, there is not even a trace of disease on my trees after using this Bayer systemic fertilizer and insecticide. And the color of the blue spruces is the best that it has ever been - a frosty blue color. My other trees have thrived with this product, including oaks and others. This is a simple granular powder that is applied to the ground without having to pound spikes or carry hundreds of pounds of natural fertilizer. It is applied once a year and can be done in any season spring through fall. I have found the results, after one year, to be astounding.

Took Awhile But Finally Eradicated the WhiteFly Infestation!
My double hibiscus bush/tree became infested with awful whiteflies and no amount of Tide spraying kept them from coming back, even after diligently spraying the backs of as many leaves as I could get to and chopping off infected branches. So these systemic granules were put on late into the season, about August of last year. It took a good month or more, but finally the tree is rid of these nasty bugs! It also made the bush sprout so many beautiful blooms. They were gorgeous! This is a great product. You just have to apply it early in Spring and wait for it to soak down into the roots.

This stuff works
I have a problem with excess water in the roots of a tree due to over-planting. This stuff really helps keeping the fungus at bay. I have to treat it 3X between the Spring and Summer months but it really helps. The leaves don;t wither half as much as without it!

Very Good Japanese Beetle Control
Worked very well on stopping the Japanese beetles from eating my decorative trees. One application lasted for the season. Plan to repeat next season. I am not certain how well it worked on the iris bed. It was applied after the iris plants bloomed and may have been too late to control the grubs. Or the problem may have been due to the lawn crew applying weed killer to the lawn.

save your trees
we are saving our trees with the Bayer Advanced Protect & Feed. The web worms have gotten worse every year especially on the trees too tall to treat with a sprayer. The Bayer Granules allow us to control the web worms while feeding the trees in the process. Our trees have not looked this good in years! They are all begging for more! We've used it on Elms, Willows, and Evergreens, all with the same great results.

I couldn't be happier. My pines and Norway spruce have been plagued year after year with leader wilt. This year, after applying Bayer in the spring, the leaders were fine.

out with mites, up go the trees
I have used the product before to control spider mites in pines, hemlock and spruce.. solves the problem if used yearly. also those where I used it did better growth wise than others where I had not needed top treat bugs.Plus living in a rural area, the Amazon price was better than the local hardware store on nearest nursery.
