As a Salop fan it was nice to read about Dave's time there and the Euros with Wales.Massive achievement that was in front of the red wall.Was nice to see you back at Town before going to Bala.

Bought as a gift arrived in time for Christmas. Good read well written and interesting. Very interesting read for anyone who enjoys watching football. It is the inside story of Dave Edwards progression through his childhood footballing dreams joining various clubs from Shrewsbury to Luton and finally ending up at Wolverhampton Wanderers and playing for his country Wales . It opens your eyes to his dedication and traumas of being injured and the fight to regain fitness . His joy at being selected to play for his country and the inside information of what it is like to be part of the team inside the Welsh camp at Euro 2016 .Dave comes over as a dedicated and humble player grateful for all he has achieved with no sign of self pity when things don’t go as planned . It was interesting to read all the hard work and sacrifice that goes into a professional footballers career when there is so much criticism of the wages that the players receive. It has to be said that all the royalties from the sale of this book will be donated to The Little Rascals Foundation which supports children with disabilities in mid Wales and the West Midlands .

A really great read for any football fan. No made up sleaze, scandal and fake rehab stories, just a great story of a player who worked his balls off to get to play in the Premier League after a non-league start. One of football's good guys whose story deserves to be read.
