Guys, I had a problem with this initially because music wouldn’t play. I thought all was plugged in and read all the reviews. Good news. It works perfectly. ALL ISSUES are typically due to the blue plug not being 100% all the way plugged in. It will feel like it is but it most likely isn’t. One speaker may work and not the others etc. All due to the plug not all the way in. Be sure to push it in so all pins connect and then it should work perfectly. Be sure NOT TO USE THE BLUETOOTH SOURCE. Only use the Aux+ source and turn that source on using the function key. Must hold the function key down till it beeps and then choose “General” and the. Scroll to Aux + and turn on.Hope this helps. This item saved me from buying a new receiver because I was getting a current error. Btw the current error is most likely due to a bad usb cable.

Only plays thru one speaker
Easy to install works on my alpine but only plays thru one speaker.

Works Fine as an additional Aux input
Hooked up to my CDA-117 to the blue cable, connected bluetooth, and selected Aux+ mode. Simple as that. This is basically a wireless equivalent of hooking up to your stereo through your headphone jack as a Aux input. Do not expect your head unit to control anything. Make sure in your head unit settings that Aux+ is enabled. It could die in a week for all I know, but so far hooked up easy and works great.

It truly works for BT phones
For once, performed exactly as advertised. Installation took 15 minutes. Once the Aux+ was set up, the source button brought up the auxiliary option when prior to set up it would not. Very happy with the product.

Works, but no head unit controls
Overall, it works. It lets me play good quality music over Bluetooth through my alpine CDA-105. I was really dissappointed that it won’t let me use play controls from the headunit. You have to use the play/pause/next from your phone. It would be a definite 5 Star if it did.

Does not work with alpine CDA-105
Received today, after pulling bottom of dash to get to plug, module plug was not the same, not even close. 4 hours wasted, don't waste your money or time it does not fit a alpine CDA-105.

Pixel 3a can't connect to it. No issues connecting to other bluetooth devices.
