Q: Does the pendulum require a separate battery?

No. 1 AA battery. Been going strong for almost 1 year on that 1 battery too :) I LOVE this clock so much! it's light, quiet and VERY attractive!

Q: I have had this clock for a little over a year. The clock still keeps time but the pendulum has stopped working. Any suggestions on what to check to fix it?

try a new battery to make sure it it not weak, make sure clock is hanging straight, and the pendelum is hanging right in its loop and give it a little push to get it started.

Q: Is the pendulum made of metal?

I would have said yes by looking at it. However, when I touched it I am not positive. The clock is gorgeous, I bought it to replace a different contemporary clock. It is well made and looks awesome on my wall. Very accurate clock and pendulum has a nice swinging motion. Well worth the price.

Q: What is the exact size of this clock

I did not keep this clock as it did not work for me.
