The cord is not as long as I would like but a extension cord will fix that. It is made out of a thin metal. When it has been on for awhile an your ready to dump it it's just slightly to hot for bare hands. I slowly switch it between hands. I reccomend that you don't grab it's while hot but I also wouldn't want to risky scratching the material but popping it with a spoon while it's hard but it would work. Some gloves, a mitten, or rag should help. I would like to see it made out of something more like ceramic like others I have had which don't become untouchably hot on the outter rim of the tray. This thing is perfect for what I wanted. I like to keep it near by bed though certain waxes create fumes that upset my breathing like artificial vanilla. It is so beautiful gives off a light that makes for a relaxing atmosphere. Not to bright enough to hurts your eyes or glare bad off your TV/monitor. Love the forest pattern it casts. Definitely my favorite so far. Melts wax fast maybe too fast it doesn't seem to put off smell as long as others I have used but I'm not sure about that. Would buy again. Would gift to someone I love.

This makes the perfect night light for my toddler! It's not too bright and not too dim. His favorite wax scents (creme brulee) offer another reminder to him that it's time to relax and sleep. It has worked wonders!Out of all the wax melters I looked at, this was the best because the light is diffused (the plastic is clouded, not clear, so you don't see the bright filament), but it's bright enough to see toys on the floor so you don't trip.As far as the tree design, it actually goes very well with our forest animal theme for his room, but I think it could go well with any animal theme or camouflage. It's also just beautiful and elegant if you don't use it as a night light.The last night light we had stopped working because of a bad cord connection. We haven't had that issue with this light.If I could change one thing, I'd move the switch closer to the light, but it still works well for us as is.

I bought this wax warmer as a gift for a friend. She absolutely loves it! It arrived quickly and will package. It is exactly as described. It lights up beautifully and the warmer works very well dispersing the scent from the wax melts through the house.

This wax melter is great for fall! Not only does it have the trees on it but it has the spookiness with it when you turn the lights on. It doesn't hold a lot of wax, it has a metal plate that I wouldn't put any more than an ounce (maybe an ounce and a quarter) in. It does get very hot even though it says it's a 25-watt warmer. It has a flip switch to turn it on down on the cord kind of near the floor which is not that convenient and one of the reasons why I'm giving it four stars. Another reason I'm only giving it 4 stars is the fact that it flickers when you turn it on and off and that's questionable in my book, the third reason would be that when you go to dump your wax the plate is so hot that you can barely touch it, I'm used to doing hot dumping with my wax melts but this warmer won't let me.This is one wax warmer that I would definitely just let sit after you turn your wax melt off. Just turn it off and let it cool down and then put it in your freezer and then dump it in the trash after it freezes. It is a beautiful warmer for the cooler weather though!

I bought two of these. I did need to return one..I’m not sure but it just wasn’t getting as hot as the other. They replaced it and the new one works just as well as the other. These provide a nice calming light to a room, and do well melting wax.

I love how soft the light is on this warmer making it perfect for the bedroom. I love how easy the wax slides off the melting plate. the one I had before was made of glass it would get a little messy changing the scent. I've had it for a week and although it is very lightweight, it looks well made adding a nice touch to your room decor.

The media could not be loaded. The wax spills out because the bulb is to big. Can’t find the right bulb to fit it Gets to hot and my grandkids got burned from it

First bulb died in the first 5 minutes (sh*t happens), bought bulbs, and its been fine for a couple months now.Build quality is highThe woods look cool but don't reflect on nearby items - I like thatSO I say go for it, but get bulbs just in case. (I still gave 5 stars because it is otherwise perfect)

Nice design, but the paint inside the wax tray has bubbled and peeled away from the metal tray after only a handful of uses. Looks really cheap now.

Faulty electrical switch. I came home from a trip and warmer was on. Warmer will come on even with switch in off position
