Fujifilm Non GF32-64mmF4 R LM WR Lens, Black

After hearing stories about batches of these lenses being shoddy compared to others, people exchanging them at B&H, I was REALLY worried about getting one from a bad batch. But maybe I just one of the lucky ones, because the lens is supreme with the GFX 50s; After 20 years of collecting Canon gear/glass/accessories (starting with the Kodak DCS520) I took a huge leap and sold ALL my Canon gear to afford the Fuji System, and I do NOT regret it.Sharp from edge to edge. Distortion at its widest, of course but not too terrible.Image quality is simply remarkable. Whether its the camera or the lens you ask? Both, because all lenses on this system seem to outperform (results sfc) the Canons I've been using for the last few years.A side note; I have also purchased the TECHART EF adapter because it was reviewed well on a particular blog to make Sigma Art lenses (EF Mounts) work well on the GFX 50s. Well, I got a bad unit from an entire bad batch from the manufacturer, plus the bad one took a month to get to me, and the replacement two months to get to me (stuck in Customs), so I have yet been able to effectively test out EF Lenses on the GFX 50S, I'm VERY dubious about it working and approach all adapted glass that require any sort of electronic adapting with skepticism, but I may report back with positive results; why even mention that here? Because if we can get Canon glass working on the GFX 50S, then FujiFilm wins, hands down, Canon has A LOT of catching up to.

Always wanted a medium format camera, always wanted a usable zoom with good resolution, now I have both.ergonomics: I wish I could say this is fuji's best lens ergonomically, but sadly its not, its easy to use, the zoom is weighted well, but the aperture ring isn't the best, the "C" position makes it better though which is nice.image quality: now this is what everyone wants to know. I can attest that it is excellent, I have the 63mm prime as well, which is much sharper out the gate, this lens doesn't catch up to the prime lens territory until f16, why that is I don't know. It is usable at f4 it cleans up at 5.6 and is great from f8-f22 f32 it falls apart for the most part and is good in a pinch. It is also softer at the wide end, the center is sharp at almost all apertures and lengths.Conclusion: its a wonderful lens, and really really handy, It works well as a short portrait lens, the bokeh is good, the build quality is great, and the IQ is wonderful.

I mostly use this lens as an all purpose lens. I shoot fashion and beauty but with this lens I can also use it when traveling.

Fantastic image quality, only thing is I wish it was a bit faster at a 2.8

This is a very sharp lens. I am quite happy with the IQ!
