The is the first time that I have ever given a review on any product that I have ever purchased on-line. I felt compelled to take the time to do so after the amazing results I got from this product. First, allow me to give you some personal background. I am a black female 32 years of age who until recently had pretty clear skin. Of course I would get an occasional pimple here and there but it was nothing to comment about, not even in high school. Then out of nowhere, about 8-10 months ago (not sure exactly how long as I am writing this review months later) I developed horrible acne. It was mainly concentrated on the apple of my checks and my lower jawline. It was bad!!! They were these huge painful lumps way deep under my skin. They would never come to a head but of course I would try to squeeze them out anyway. Worse mistake ever. Yeah, all the gunk that was caught in there came out, but I swear the more I squeezed, the more they multiplied. I tried everything there was to try in the drugstore from Clean and Clear products to Neutrogena with no avail. I considered buying Proactive, but discovered Exposed Skin Care and purchased that instead. And although I did like the Exposed line it did nothing for the particular acne I had. After hours (literally) of on-line research I deducted that I had cystic acne. I didn't have the $$$ to go to a dermatologist but all the descriptions that I read where spot on (no pun intended) to what I was experiencing. I then learned that the only way to treat cystic acne was from the inside out. Whether it be changes to your diet or oral medication, but there's nothing that you can put on the surface of your skin that is going to help with this condition. I then stumbled upon ClearZine and just thought to myself "what do I have to lose". It was the best decision I ever made. Now to the good part....I ordered the product and began taking two pills 3 times a day with meals (6 pills daily). I did not see results within a week as others have commented. I did start seeing results on about day 15, halfway thru the 2nd bottle (if you take them as I did, one bottle is only going to last ten days). I continued taking them but had about a 3-4 day lapse in between when I was waiting on my second delivery. And Yes. I did break out again during that time. I kept taking the pills as I did the first go round and within about 6 weeks my skin was totally clear. It was the best feeling ever!!! Of course I still had scaring from the pimples that I squeezed but knew I could work on that issue, no problem. I'm sharing my story because I know the pain and insecurity acne can cause. It may seem vain, but I cried many times over what was happening to my skin. I was always a pretty girl and now felt so ugly and was just boggled at this (what seemed to be) hormonal change that I was going through. I wasn't pregnant. I wasn't under any more stress than usual. I hadn't changed my diet (carnivore to vegetarian or vice versa). What gives??? I'm still not sure what happened, but I do know what fixed it. ClearZine. I recommend anyone with a similar story to just give it a try. Its been months now and my skin is still clear and the scaring has gone away significantly. I've reduced my intake to only 3 pills a day (1 with every meal and sometimes I forget, as the immediate problem and thus urgency, has subsided). Again, I might get a little pimple, but no more of those huge painful cysts. I know this was long, but I wanted to give this product the review it is deserving of and convince someone who is feeling as low as I was into ordering this product so they can again feel as beautiful as I do now. This product is absolutely amazing!! I started breaking out when I was about 12, having very small breakouts on my forehead, but not spreading anywhere else. After about a year when it began to spread to my nose and temples I ordered my first set of Proactive, which worked to clear everything up. It worked pretty good for about a year, and I only had a few zits maybe once or twice a month. After that time ( I used the normal strength) I began to breakout again, this time much worse; I had red, blotchy zits all over my T-zone (forehead, temples, and nose area). I just thought, well you now, I can't do anything about it and I kept using the regular Proactive. About a year later the breakouts had gotten so bad that my mom said that I should probably try something stronger and I agreed. So I ordered the extra strength Proactive. Well, that worked for another year until the breakouts were back and worse than ever. I tried just about everything; wearing no make up, using more Proactive products, and I think at one time I was using about three different face washes. For about six-ish seven months I used loads of products and It was absolutely horrible! Finally I just said that's it, I'm done. I started researching more naturel remedies and stumbled across this product. Let me tell you, IT WORKES!! I was pretty skeptical when I bought it, and my mom thought no way this would work, you're just wasting your money. After about five days I really started noticing the difference. My skin was clearing up beautifully and even the old acne marks were leaving. After a week my skin looked amazing. I took two pills after my meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner). By the time I was almost done with both my bottles my skin looked amazing. The only issue I had was that I ran out and forgot to order a new set and didn't take the right amount for almost a week. I broke out horribly, but only on my left cheek, which is really weird. If you remember to take it, it WILL work. Also, on a side note, if your thinking of ordering Proactive, I would not recommend it. Your skin will just get used to it and get worse. I went from using a gazillion products to a salycidic face wash, and a benzoil paroxide mousterizer. That's it!! Good luck!!!

After just two or three days of taking these pills, I already notice that my complexion is not as oily at mid-day and definitely much less oily at the end of the day compared to what I was used to. I would describe my acne as moderate, but not really visible -- my skin isn't red or really broken out, I get the occasional bad bump but mostly have whiteheads that are only visible if you're right up on my skin and look for them. From across the table, you might not be able to see them but they are there -- it's the oily skin though that is apparent. I watch my diet, I exercise, drink lots of water, get plenty of sleep, and wash my face morning and night -- still the excess oil seems to build up during the day. I knew that I needed to try something different than just face wash and creams. So it made sense to me to supplement my body from the inside out. After just a couple of days I am really pleased already. I took a look at myself at the end of the day yesterday and was surprised to see that my skin was not much more shiny or oily than when I'd left for work that morning. I do take these with breakfast in the morning and plenty of water, but I don't really space them out throughout the day like the directions suggest. I pop 4-6 in the morning and then maybe 2 before bed. After just a few days that's worked really well so far and I look forward to seeing how it helps my skin beyond keeping the oil to a minimum. So far I'm really pleased and impressed. I figured they'd work b/c I believe in natural, homeopathic remedies that work from inside out and sure enough this stuff is good. I'll keep ordering and using.
