only use Merkens to make my peppermint bark

It come in a plastic bag on the outside and a cello bag on the inside. The cello bag split and about 1 1/2 pounds of the chocolate ended up on the floor which went into the trash. I have ordered it from this vendor before and never had a problem. The product has always been very fresh and easy to work with.

I bought these to make a pretzel treat. The chocolate is smooth and creamy and has a very nice taste. I have made the treats before using other wafers and they melt as well and didn't have the creamy smooth to them. I will only stay with this brand from now on. In case you are interested I will enclose recipe for pretzel treats everyone raves about them.Small or square pretzelsChocolate wafersM&MPut pretzels on cookie sheet with one wafer on each one. Put in preheated oven at 250 for 3-4 minutes until chocolate is soft but not runny. Remove from oven and immediately put M&M pushed down on chocolate. If use standard size M&M I put two on each pretzel if using the speciality M&M which are larger I do one.Then put to side and allow to cool.Enjoy.

Company packaged and shipped perfectly! I have used many melting chocolates over the years... Wilton's melts great but tasted horrible. Ghirardelli also melted great, and tastes great, but left a thinner coating on the homemade truffles. Merkens has by far been the best tasting, and best melting chocolate to date. It is thicker than the ghirardelli white chocolate, so it seems to coat better. Have not tried the regular chocolate yet, but would recommend the Merkens white melting chocolate over any other I've used!

I loved these! Love! They came in ten small one lbs packages, took only 3 mins to melt completely. The consistency of the candy melts was ok but I added a small amount of vegetable oil. The melts were delicious! So great! I love these so much. I'll definitely be ordering again. Note: Used them to coat cake pops.

arrived quickly-the taste was wonderful and they melted beautifully. I melted them and used them to make candy pieces.would definitely order again- updating 8 22 2014. I just received my second order..I would not recommend ordering these in the summer. They arrived melted on the bottom of the bag. They were also left on my front porch in 95+ degrees and had I not been home, the entire bag would have been melted. I will order again, but only in the cooler months...
