The replacement awning worked great! The original polls were too long so I replacement them some rebar.

Bought this a few months ago to replace the canvas my pergola came with. Fits my 8 x 10 pergola Perfectly. Have not used it in Weather, so can’t comment on its durability. However, I do Scotchgard everything on my deck and patio. And this canvas was no different, so I assume it will weather well.

I bought this to replace the original cover of my 2yr old pergola. It rip in the corner after a small storm with 25mph winds ... For the most part it is water proof. Rain pooled after rainstorm and barely drips through.

Material is good quality. It is sturdy and strong. Stitching is also well done . It fit slightly bigger than original, but not a big deal. I live in El Paso, where it is very dry and hot. It is also windy here. It protects fairly well even with the sun directly above. It holds strong against the wind. Very content with this shade. Does the job!Update : Canopy already tore in two places. One of the laces tore off completely and it is chaffing where the pole slides in. I've only had it for 2 months.

The Arizona sun and wind doesn't allow anything outside last very long, but the previous purchased canopy lasted about five years I think. One modification I have done is to drill a hole through each end of the weight poles to attach via string to the frame. Using the fabric ties attached to the canopy will cause it to rip in high winds.

After 2 summers in the Nevada sun the canopy on our pergola was beginning to get brittle & tear. I was unable to get the actual canopy for our specific pergola but this is a great replacement. As the advice on the package states we have sprayed it with Scotchguard to help it last a bit longer. Looking forward to a nice summer!

it is a bit to wide for our pergola, but its not to bad. Its nice and thick and keeps you dry under, unless you allow big puddles on top, then it will eventually drip through.The only thing I don't like to much that it has closed pockets for the rods to go through, so every time it storms you have to totally disassemble everything in a hurry. My old one had a big zipper which was much much easier to deal with!!

I want to like this canopy more but it has 1 fatal flaw. It was easy to put up and looms nice. We even used pipe in the side pockets to weight the canopy down, but as others have noted, this does pool water. I've had other canopies and never had this severe of a problem. We are trying to figure out a way to secure the sides to reduce the pooling but so far have not come up with any. Adding grommets and ties on the side may be an option but just not certain that will work.

We LOVE this canopy much more than the original one that came with our pergola! For the price we are going to order a second canopy, since we were so happy with the color and quality.

I really hate to write a bad review as it hurts the seller, but I have to advise against purchasing this canopy. First, the fabric is very flimsy. When stretched on top of the pergola, it flaps with wind. We have had to weight it down by placing board on the top. Because it is so stretchy, when it rains, the water pools in pockets on the top of the pergola and slowly drips down unless you manually empty it. It claims to be universal but it is really too wide for my Sunjoy unit and we had a hard time getting it to fit on the unit's rods. Today was what pushed me write this review -- up about 2 weeks it is already developing pin holes. There is one plus to it as it does do a good job of blocking the sun. We will get through this season and look for a different cover for next year.

It did not fit our pergola as my husband apparently has not yet been imbued with the lost skill of measuring, but it seemed like a quality piece.

This cover was made better than the original one that came with the pergola. The material was thicker and more resistant to wind and rain

It seems a little thin but looks very nice. We previously had a camel colored canopy and this grey looks so much nicer. It hasn’t rained since we put it up so that will shed more light on the true quality. It’s a bit wider than our pergola but the ties allow for some adjustments.

This pergola cover is very nice, seems like a durable material. NOT WATERPROOF, but is water resistant. My only complaint is the tie offs are not stitched very well and one of the four ripped off on day one.
