Nurse Mates Compression Trouser Butterfly Socks

Compression without the struggle to put on and take off.

Material very thin and breathable. Provides minimal support. Cute design. Very comfortable except that the hem is right at the tips of the toes, which, for me caused soreness.

These trouser socks are labeled as compression socks. For me they did not really perform that function and were no better or worse than wearing a simple pair of nylon knee-hi socks. I wore these for my nursing clinical assignments(4-8 hours on my feet) and while they do provide light support, I would not label it the same type of support that other compression socks can offer. Yes, they are pretty. I am giving 4 stars as these were some of the first garments I have purchased for the purpose of compression support and I realize now that I require a higher level of compression than what these have to offer.

I bought these in black, white, and ceil. Honestly I love the butterflies, and they do seem to help at the end of the day with my feet being as swollen as they are when I just wear normal socks. That being said..... The compression isn't very tight. I also bought prestige medicals ones with the breast cancer awareness emblem. Those are a lot tighter (but not like ted hose tight... I dont wan't ted hose tight either). These to me feel like dress socks/nylons. They help a bit... But just not what I wanted. I am a cna in a skilled nursing unit and am on my feet 7.5+ hours a day. These just don't fit the bill how I was hoping. I'll keep them, but will be buying more of a different brand as well. And won't buy this brand for socks again... Their shoes however are amazing!~

Love these socks, I have been using them for years and have found nothing better. I’m a nurse and Spend 12-14 hours a day on my feet these socks offer mild support with out being too tight. They do not slide down or cut at the band and they are much much cheaper here than at the Uniform stores.

they are cute and comfortable and come in several colors, they don't dig in to my lets yet give enough support for what i need. they help keep the swelling down in my legs too. my doctor had recommended them to me and this is not my first order. they do last quite a while too.

I love these socks, love the design and the feel. They wash well, I air dry. I work 12 hour shifts and my legs no longer hurt while working. I need more compression though as I still have swollen ankles when I get home although not as bad as before I tried these. I used to use Jobst hose, they never last as they run like stockings. These are far better if you just need light support or light compression.

They do what they're supposed to and they have a cute butterfly pattern. I have to wear mine inside out because the seam bothers me during my shifts at the hospital. They are very thin, but I haven't had any trouble with blisters or anything. So all in all a good product for a cheap price.
