Have used it a lot
Small but strong. Have used it with a hammer to break up chunks of ice and have also used it to separate ice cubes that have frozen together. it's smallhas been very handy when making ice cream. The top of the wooden hammer is flat, so it's easy to use is with a hammer. It's small enough to keep in the drawer with my tableware.

Great pick for the price
Simple, efficient, and well made. This pick has a long, gentle taper, as opposed to an angle-ground tip like a lot of the other ice picks out there seem to have. It makes for a better looking tool in my opinion. The metal of the pick also seems to be actual high-quality steel, unplated. A lot of the other cheap picks appear to be plated metal, which in an impact type tool usually eventually will fail and flake off or crack. Keep this pick dry after use, don't run it through the dishwasher, and rub it down with a little coconut oil once in a while and I'm sure it will give years of use. Some complain that the handle is a bit unfinished, and I would partially agree with that, although I rubbed mine down with a bit of butcher block oil upon receipt just like any other wooden utensil I own. Problem solved. In one sense, some may see this as an asset if they wanted to put their own chosen finish on it to match a bar. Regardless, treating it just like any other "unfinished" wooden utensil one might have in their kitchen doesn't seem unreasonable. My only complaint is that it would be a nice touch to have some kind of cover for the tip included. I'm simply using a wine cork.

Rusty!
This item was used once and it has rust on it already. Not pleased with quality at all. Do not waste time or money on this product!

Puts holes in things as needed
I use ice picks to put holes in belts and plastic containers as needed. This does the job. I heat it up on the stove (we have a gas stove) and when it starts to get red I use it to put the hole on then put it back on to clean. Let it cool and I can put it in the drawer.I know this isn't the usual tool you'd think of for this but an ice pick works great and I'm very happy I got this one. It does not take up much drawer space, no more than a screw driver and since I clean it by burning off any plastic or leather that gets on it, it's very low maintenance.

Wood warped the first time it was hand washed in the sink
The wood was not properly sealed, and became "splintery" the first time that I hand washed it in the sink and towel dried it.

Sometimes You Still Need an Ice Pick
This is a well-made ice pick. It is sturdy and you can comfortably grip the handle without it sliding while you are separating/chipping the ice. Reasonably priced and it does it job. Definitely would recommend this tool to others.
