Very basic book
It feels like a very old book. Fine for some very basic concepts and some images.

Very Resourceful
This is a great book for medical esthetic practitioners (nurses and doctors) and estheticians. It provides a lot of solid information about the practice, products, and some techniques. However, I felt like I often feel when reading books written by doctors: the deminuition of the abilities and qualifications of nurses in the medi-esthetic field, many of whom have solid background, great technique, and often inject and treat clients with little to no supervision by doctors. It is for the most part, an unnecessary safeguard that controls the market, keeps beautification unaffordable and inaccessible for many, and inhibits nurses' progress in a field where they actually dominate in practice and do so quite safely and more affordably.I enjoyed this book and will use it as an added resource to our media-spa library.Overall, it is very informative and, I believe, a must have for all medi-spas.
