Decades of quality and taste
My nother used to buy it when we were settled aborad. This was more of an item made to export to foreign countries, for the NRIs. It's more of a garam masala mix and can be used alone to make yummy subji or gravy. Anything you want, veg or non veg. I was very sad when we couldn't find it after coming to India. On a trip to Chennai, I even roamed around some shops which had the name madrass masala, just to know it's not what I was looking for. A random search on Amazon eventually landed me to this and since then I have been stacking it in ammas cupboards. A must have for everyone. Super glad it's available within India now.

Very fine indeed!
Excellent blend, well balanced. Adds layers of flavor to a dish...doesn't need too much else it can dominate a dish. A pinch will go a long way.Arrived very fresh and the tin is certainly a keeper when the powder had been used up--which may be in a while as 500 gm will last a long time.

The best brand to buy
Have been using this brand of curry powder since last 5 years. It is incredibly good, and the flavor and taste is authentic. It is a must buy for use in south indian curries, and I have used this to make curries of all sorts of cuisine- including thai dishes!
