These are great beads for fly tying. The BIG problem is the last two orders only 48 came in the package. It clearly states 100 pieces in the package."ANGLER DREAM Fly Tying Beads 100 PC/LOT Tungsten Beads Nymph Head Ball Fly Tying Materials 4 Colors." Amazon has been great in sending me another package which also only had 48 beads.I would give it a ONE, but the beads are great.

Good bang for your buck. Don't be in a hurry to get these because mine took 3 weeks to arrive. I use these for tying ice fishing jigs. My only regret is I didn't order the next size larger. I will definitely order more.

I bought the black nickel in 2.4mm and found that while the beads look good in general, they are not shiny and more of a grayish matte color. They slide easily on the hook and have good weight, but this weekend I'll try them out at Pyramid Lake and see if the lack of shine makes a difference. If these beads work well, I'll amend my review.

A few guides and semi-pro fishermen I know use glass beads between their bullet weight and hook to give some extra noise, but they're always complaining about the glass breaking on hard hooksets. These tungsten beads are great for that. They're very heavy for their size, so if you use it along with a bullet weight, size down considerably. The noise they create in the water is awesome. Two pieces of tungsten clacking together makes for some nice attractant. And, naturally, holds up a lot better than the glass beads.

First of all, the three baggies came with no labeling of any kind, so I had to measure the bead sizes myself. I ordered one bag of 2.45, 2.7 and 3mm beads. What came were two bags of 2.45 and one 2mm bag. On top of that, each bag only had 50 beads and not 100 like it says in the headline. I wondered why these were so much cheaper than the other options on Amazon. Now I know.

Nice color, good weight. I got the 4mm and I can only get them over the turn on #10 hooks, which I believe it says in the description.

Good for steelhead run.

Item was short 2 beads in the order. Otherwise quality looks great. In total fairness the other bead order in copper had an extra bead. Again, very good quality.
