I have to say I spent a week researching for a lap desk. I did not want to pay $50 for one but I did want something sturdy and comfortable. I blog a lot so at home I am typically on the couch or in the chair with the laptop and needed something to set it on.I can fit my laptop and wireless mouse on it just fine. And it works when I sit cross legged or legs straight out or just sit it on the coffee table, all positions I use it in are comfortable and pretty sturdy. It's also kept my laptop a lot cooler than it was before when I would sit it on my lap, I have no issues or the laptop burning my legs anymore or working itself to death when it gets hot. The padding is even great for the mouse to move around with, mine has not gotten hung up yet trying to move.The only issue I've found is the wrist padding, it seems to have small foam beads in it and typically gets deformed if I set my wrist in one spot too long. But with that type padding that's pretty hard to avoid, just smooth it out and it goes away.For the price and comfort of this lap desk it is a definite buy, not to mention it's light weight and easy to carry around.

This beanbag laptop table works okay, and only okay. It's not thick enough to be able to sit and type comfortably on your laptop. If your legs are uncrossed, it sits too low, if crossed it sits too high. If you're buying it as a writing desk, then it would work better for you. Skip it if you want it for your laptop. The only really good things about it are the non-slip surface, which grips the laptop well and it keeps most of the heat from the computer off your legs.

I had an earlier version of this laptop desk that I liked a lot. A seam came apart (after two years of constant use) and the styrofoam beans started escaping. When I purchased this one, I thought it was identical, but it has one big difference -- two buttons burrowed into the main "pillow" under the desk. Presumably, this is to help the pillow hold its shape, but as the other reviewer noted, this makes it very difficult to position the desk exactly the way you need it to sit on your lap. So I removed the buttons. It's perfect now. One big beanbag that I can mold any way I want so the desk is in a position that's comfortable and convenient for me. One of my favorite things about this desk is that you can position your computer over to one side and still have plenty of room to use a mouse. The surface of the desk makes a perfect mousepad. This is a very simple laptop desk -- no bells and whistles -- but it's all I need. I use it all day five days a week and am very happy with it.

The desk portion of this product is too flimsy. It must be picked up in the middle or it bends. The cushions are soft, but I would not purchase this item if I had it to do over again.

I've had the product for about three weeks. Initially I liked it a lot and would have rated it at 4, maybe 5, stars. However, over time, two flaws have come to light that make impossible for me to recommend. Although the no-skid surface is great for mousing around, it's coming undone in sections and bubbling-up from the base. Apparently the adhesive is defective. Second, the platform is not perfectly flat resulting in the laptop wobbling during use. This is not a deal-breaker, but it is annoying. More concerning is the mouse pad surface; if it comes more undone it will render the product useless.Nov. 1, 2016 update: I suppose that I ought not be critical of a product that costs a mere $12, but the fact that it is steadily getting worse is annoying beyond words. Couldn't insTand have come up with an adhesive that would securely fasten the mouse pad to the plastic base? As is, the pad continues to develop more bubbles as it lifts up from the base. Two stars are now one.

This was a great buy for me because I have a nice big recliner and go to school online. I have searched for all kind of laptop tables, small computer desks, and even the 30 dollar white table the changes different heights. This was the best; it is affordable, and large for my Toshiba wide screen 19' laptop. My legs are no longer hot from my laptop and it is like a mini but lightweight desk on my legs. I just put my feet up and lay this on my legs and do homework for hours. It is a good buy, reasonably priced and did not take long to ship to me.

While serviceable the product was not as much as I expected/needed. I am a senior citizen who, due to health concerns, spends a good share of her life in a recliner. My main source of enjoyment is using my computer and after trying a variety of ways to place it on something to make it more comfortable and accessible I ordered the product in question. The only problem is that it needs more padding. As I use my laptop it presses down on two points on my legs and I end up hurting by the middle of my day. Other than that it is a fine product.

Lightweight. Desk sits comfortably on my lap and my 15R Inspiron stays in place on the desk, even when I change positions or put my legs up on the footstool. Good size to use in my smaller sized favorite TV chair. Easy to set aside when getting up. I have been using this laptop desk daily for over 6 weeks. It's sturdy enough for anything I want to do with my laptop. I have also used it with my PC's wireless keyboard as I find the lap position easier for my achy shoulders.
