My first unit was broken upon arrival. It was cracked on the small piece where the fingerprint scanner meets the camera. 2nd unit showed up a few days later perfect.You can tell there is a noticeable difference in thickness compared to the factory back glass. That said, these were under 20 and the factory units are almost 80 dollars. Good compromise in my opinion.Nice adhesive around the edges, bottom and top of the glass. Well placed too. This unit had the camera lens cover and flash cover already installed. This was nice as recycling the old is very difficult due to the factory adhesive.Overall, I gave it 5 stars. My replacement unit was shipped fast and packaged well. No telling on the first one.Go slow and watch the videos on this before you pull the trigger. It's actually pretty easy if you take your time. I recommend using a business card over the metal tool they send. It will help with not breaking the glass if you need to replace something else later on.

Extreme care should be used removing the strips also because the adhesive strips can dislodge from the surface of the new back cover. The knife supplied may also chip paint from the black phone frame. Otherwise you should have no problems and a relatively easy installation. For a first time install I did a good job, fitting the top over the camera before pressing down onto the rest of the back and it was a perfect fit. I just chipped some of the paint off of the metal frame. I did a quick touch up with a black magic marker and it looks new now, however I think the bare metal needs some actual touch up paint to be permanent. I recommend this product with the necessary precautions I have posted and give 5 stars.They include a card with a link to instructions which I only glanced over and did not see the link so my fault. That link seems to show them removing the damaged back glass with some sort of triangular guitar pick looking plastic tool, but it was not included though.

Take your time.... Check and double check, that ALL plastic protective coverings are removed. The coverings are individually attached. Check alignment, PATIENCE..... It is a quality product, but, not easily applied. Removal of existing back is tedious, especially if the back glass is broken as mine was. It took about 45 minutes to complete removal and install new back. Not for a novice.....I am pleased with product.

As the headline states, this product looks identical to the stock glass and fits without issues. The item arrived promptly, undamaged, and exactly what I expected when ordering. Installation instructions were on their website which was stated on the package. Instructions were pretty clear and installation was straight forward, just make sure to take your time.The only reason it didn't earn 5 stars IMO is the "Custom Removal Tool." It's made of thin sheet metal and WILL damage the bezel if you're not careful. The damage is minor, but I highly suggest using an old card from your wallet, or an alternative plastic pry tool.Again, if you take your time and you're cautious throughout the installation, this product will be all that you need. I would definitely purchase again.

I bought this to use just in case I broke the back of my Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus when swapping out the battery. Glad I did, as I ended up breaking the original one in the process!This had all the adhesive already in place, AND the camera lens so I didn't have to pull it off of the original back. It went on VERY easily after removing the adhesive backing and carefully lining up the parts.One suggestion is to make sure before you replace the back, that ALL residual adhesive is removed from the phone. This will make the installation easier, and if using rubbing alcohol, it also really helps with adhesion when the surface is clean/dry!Not sure if it's really glass, but my phone sits in a case, so I don't really care. It looks good enough!

The back adhesive peels up when the covering is removed, you can salvage this if careful, however, at least on this unit, the bottom of the back cover was poorly cleaned up after manufacture leaving sharp edges that didn't properly align with the phone front and cracked on removal making it completely unusable. The entire process led to partial damage of the existing phone chassis. More than just a loss of money buying a bad product.

This bad boy worked great. I used it to fix the back of my phone before trading it in. I went to the store and they were going to charge me 100 and trade in credit was about 105. Figured what do I got to loose. I mean it was extremely easy to change out the broken one. Word of advice take off the adhesive tape covering before you plug in your fingerprint sensor and be veryyyyyyyyy careful with that wire. Mine snapped but i can honestly say it was my fault for being lazy and trying to remove the adhesive cover while it was plugged in. Again it was my own fault.

Good: Better than a shattered back. Also, fits well.Bad: Plastic, not glass. Not convinced the adhesive will hold, and certainly sure it wont maintain the water resistance of the phone. Also, tool provided easily scratches the metail section between the two glass panels. Overall okay, but dont recommend.

This cover is exactly like the original. Just had to remove the camera from the old cover, taking care to remove the old adhesive, and set it on the adhesive on the new cover. One word of caution: don't press to hard on the new cover as it's quite fragile until it's properly seated on the phone.

I was impressed with the packaging and the product in general. It looks exactly like the OEM one which is what I wanted. I will buy again if I have to and so should you.

Fit well. However, the pre installed adhesive needs to be improved.

Fit perfect the tape looks to be OEM It says Samsung s8+ on the back which the original did not and I like that and was very easy to install I used a blow dryer and suction cup along with the supplied tool and had no issues

Terrible. Just terrible. At first before I installed it, it looked very thin and didn't seem to have much support since it was only glass and not built like the true oem panels. The camera cut out rings are painted on and scratched off. After a few days of installing the back broke and cracked all over... like I paid 20$ to fix my problem and here's another one. DONT BUY IT.
