CNDSHELLAC LUXE Nail Polish, Dark Dahlia

I'm not a beautician but I bought a gel nails home kit during lockdown and attempt my own sometimes! Hollywood is the colour I've often chosen in the salon for my toes so I bought it. Happy with the results. The consistency is good and this photo is 2 weeks after application so still going strong (2 layers plus top coat). It's a beautiful red as it seems to me to have pink tones in it so I feel like it goes with anything

Very rich dark colour. I made it extra dark by adding an extra coat as I wanted it dark & it goes on lovely.

I’m not happy,because actually the color it’s not looking the same like the bottle color.

So I’m allergic to most gel polishes and was really fed up of having to apply normal polish everyday due to chipping. I looked online to see if there was any semi permanent polish out there I can use that would not give me an allergic reaction. I saw that cnd shellac is 7 free so decided to give it a go. I’m happy to report after 48 hours wear I still have no allergic reaction which I’m so happy about. U do need at least a 48watt lamp to cure properly or cnd own lamp. It has lasted so far 2 days without chipping and that meBeing a busy mum doing all the things needed to look after a special needs 4 year old. All in all I have to say if ur like me and allergic to gel polish then give cnd shellac a try as u may find u can wear this like I have.

I do like the shimmer this product gives but, I had to apply 4/5 coats to get this result. It is very sheer.

I love CND gel polish as it’s so smooth to apply and is long lasting. This is one of my favorite colors as it’s a beautiful nude so goes perfectly with everything.

if you want a milky white with no pigment this is perfect for you!! after 5 coats i could only get the colour to a milky light gray never would reach a pure white was let down by cnd never of thought it to be such a bad white

The bottle was only half full. I really like the colour and the quality of the polish, it stays on well and lasts long. But it’s a lot of money for half a bottle
