such an awesome backpack! cannot say enough about this thing! great for school, can save your phone or tablet in a pinch if you are taking notes and your device starts dying. Takes some getting used to as far as making habits to make sure you remember to have the solar panel in the sun, but it is worth it. I always take it camping, rugged bag takes a beating like nothing. I bought my own extra battery pack, not because of any shortfalls from the one that comes with it, but because I use it so much that it just works better for me to have an extra. any battery back up can be charged with the solar panel, the panel is easily removable from the backpack if you want to charge the battery without heating the bag (because of food or cold beer) and you become the lifesaver when someone wants to take pictures and there is no charger for their phone or device nearby.Sad story, mine was stolen, but I will definitely look into getting another soon!

I followed the instructions for charging the battery and it would not charge. I sent it back and received a full refund. However, despite being led to believe otherwise, the seller refused to pay the return shipping. After the fact, the seller said it was tested and worked. I do not believe them, because I tested it myself and it didn’t work.

This backpack is excellent quality! Nice large, flat solar panel to charge electronics! Two large areas in the backpack. Very, very nice!!! Would gladly buy again!
