MoenYB5408WR Kingsley Double Post Pivoting Toilet Paper Holder, Wrought Iron

No clue why amazon wants me to rate the "softness" of a toilet paper holder, but it is heavy duty and works well. Much better than the kind that has the expanding bar.

Well, the answer is obvious. In order to install this item I had to repair the wall damage left by the improper installation by my original builders. I continued to use the old, spring-loaded, toilet paper roll-holder because "good enough" was at play. Having said that, go ahead and DO THIS. The item is gorgeous, and the cantilever arm feature is both clever and convenient. Once properly installed this toilet paper roll holder is rock solid. You could use it as a safety bar without issue. I was a little concerned that the tolerances for the installation of the two separate posts would be tight enough to cause a problem, however, using the supplied template to drill the proper holes made that concern a non-issue. The aesthetic design is SLIGHTLY different from the existing towel bars, yet nobody would ever notice. You can make the judgement of the match quite easily. I mounted ONE of the two sides onto an underlying stud using my own hardware (screws), and highly recommend that you do the same. Enjoy.

Super easy to change everything out. Works like a charm and the spouse will love it too.We bought everything this brand had for this model and our bathroom turned out great! Not too fancy but not the same product everyone puts in the bathroom. Really gives everything an elevated look.This really feels nice and solid once installed on the wall and seems like it should last awhile.

Everyone else has already commented on the virtues of the pivoting design. They are all right. It's awesome and you will never look back. Rather than repeat those reviews, I want to comment on why this Moen Kingsley is worth the price premium compared to other products.I purchased three different pivoting TP holders - a Moen Inspirations, a Delta Mandara, and this Moen Kingsley. While all of them look good and function well, the Moen Kingsley looks and feels so much more "rich". The first thing you notice when you take it out of the box is that it has some weight to it. It has a classical elegance that makes a subtle but also surprisingly noticeable statement in your bathroom. Honestly, it makes the room feel more luxurious. The pivot mechanism is smooth and makes a resoundingly satisfying "clank" sound when it closes.Finish - the bronze finish in the product picture is very close to what you receive. On the scale of oil rubbed bronze, Kingsley is perhaps medium-dark with some lighter accents. It is not the super dark, almost black color you sometimes see, and it is not the lighter, copper-like color you also see. IMO it is what "oil rubbed bronze" is supposed to look like. I love Moen fixtures and use them exclusively in my house, however they really need to get their act together with consistent pictures of their various finishes. Oil rubbed bronze in one collection is NOT the same as another, and their website is very inconsistent and misleading.BOTTOM LINE: this is expensive, but worth every penny. It is classy and has a heavy and sturdy pivot mechanism. We loved it so much we bought another one for the downstairs bath!

Holder is nice design with the swinging lock arm. You have to be really careful with getting the distance correct or it won't latch correctly. Use the template and check adjustment before tightening it down. Only negative is it is too wide. You can almost fit 2 rolls of paper on it. Not sure why they needed it that wide. Does China (where it was made, would like to see made in USA, Moen) have wider rolls? Looks slightly disproportionate but not too bad.

I didn’t know a toilet paper holder could make me feel amazing. We built a new house and I had to choose EVERY item and finish, which was tiring. I ordered several toilet paper holders and splurged on these for the master and powder baths. But after moving in and using these, and the cheaper ones I got for the other bathrooms, I’m now changing out the cheap ones for these. The spring loaded posts made of plastic just made me feel junky. Plus these are GORGEOUS. I pet mine every morning, lol. Get these, you won’t be disappointed!

Truly, this is a heavy-weight, sturdy and easy to refill toilet paper holder. We purchased the brushed nickel option to match other our bathroom trim and my husband installed this (in about 20 minutes) in our 2yr old daughter's bathroom. He had never installed a toilet paper holder before, but is very hady with a drill and a level. One side went into a stud & the other side was secured with the anchors provided in the package. Anchors provided are of good quality... My daughter won't be able to pull this out of the wall. One of my most favorite aspects of this toilet paper holder is the way the bar pivots up/down, making it SUPER EASY to change the paper roll! The bar is not spring loaded (I hate those) and it DOES NOT come off if you pull the toilet paper too hard, and it DOES NOT flop out of your hands and roll away down the bathroom floor. Haha! The bar just pivots "up" and then back "down", snapping securely into place. See my photo #3. Excellent functional design & beautiful lines! Would buy over & over again!

My husband warned me about buying hardware items like the Moen Kingsley towel bars and pivoting paper holder from the internet, without seeing them first, but when I couldn't find what I wanted in stores, I went ahead and bought them from Amazon, proving him wrong, once again! The pivoting paper holder was about $25.00 cheaper than it was at Home Depot, and I didn't have to pay shipping. It's also a beautiful product; I bought it in the brushed nickel, and it's really elegant, with a soft shine, and the pivot was a revelation! (Okay, that's a bit of an exaggeration, but after years and years of changing toilet rolls on an old-fashioned toilet roll holder, this is so easy.) All in all, I couldn't be more pleased with my purchases: They're beautiful, well-made, and look like they'll last a long time.

Really nice quality from Moen. A lot of the big box stores don't carry the nicer (heavier) quality stuff in store because I guess people prefer the inexpensive stuff, but I really do think it's worth the extra $ to go for the better quality. It feels heavy and is made of metal and no plastic at all. Pivoting arm is great and convenient! Bought the matching towel ring for the same reason - the plastic "metal" ones in stores all feel so cheap and lightweight. Good buys as usual from Amazon!

I have been looking for a product that would compliment our Wiser Door Leavers. Black Matt is hard to find and the Moen Kingsley Series is just what I was looking for! It matches perfectly, not only the colour but the lines as well.You won't be disappointed in this product!

Moen...a nice quality product. We have the Kingsley pattern in our master bathroom so this paper holder fits right in. I love the pivoting arm for the paper, makes it so nice and easy to change the roll.
