SIBOLAN S4S 17.3 inch IPS 1080P HDR Portable Gaming Monitor with HDMI Input Ultra Slim

I bought this to use as a portable gaming monitor for my PC and Xbox One, and it's served that purpose very well. The metal casing is sturdy and doesn't feel cheap or flimsy.The buttons on the left side of the monitor for power, input source, volume, and menu are mechanical push buttons rather than the capacitive touch buttons a lot of monitors have. Though the buttons themselves are a bit stuff to push in (I recommend using the included remote for doing any work in the menus) it's nice having mechanical push buttons that I can feel for in the dark if needed.The built-in speakers, as you would expect, are not something you'd want to use regularly (there's a headphone jack on the right side of the monitor that I use most of the time), but the speakers get loud enough for me when I'm caught without headphones or external speakers.After spending some time playing with the color settings (I had to shift the yellow and green hues to the left and play with their saturation levels a bit, upped the backlight setting, and put color temperature on 7500) the picture quality is very good - not "high end gaming monitor" good, but overall everything looks sharp, colors are fairly balanced, and the viewing angle is such that two people sitting next to each other at a reasonable distance should see the picture fine with little to no brightness drop off. I don't generally notice any ghosting, and while I can't give any precise measurements on input lag, I've used monitors in the past with less than 16ms (less than 1 frame) input lag, and this monitor doesn't feel far off from that.The 17" size is, in my opinion, the perfect traveling size - it's *just* small enough to fit in a suitcase, large duffel bag or 17" laptop bag, yet just big enough to be able to sit a reasonable distance away and not feel like you're squinting. For what it's worth, most of my time spent playing on this monitor has been on Halo 5 (Xbox One), Overwatch (PC), and Fortnite (PC), with a few retro twitch shooters in between (Metal Slug, Raiden, Dodonpachi). While I wouldn't go any smaller than this screen size, this size seems perfect so far for what I've used it for. It's also worked well in a pinch for some on-the-road PC usage and software development work.Finally, word of advice on the padded sleeve they include - it works very well for protecting the screen, but it's a tight fit. I have the best luck by sliding the monitor into the large part of the sleeve, then pulling a single corner of the sleeve flap over the corner of the monitor to get it started.If you need something that's relatively durable for frequent travel, specifically for gaming (both PC and console), I would recommend this. So far, I haven't found anything better than this on the market for this sort of thing.

I've been using this monitor for several months now. When I travel on business, I bring a second monitor for my laptop, as I lose a lot of productivity trying to mange with only one monitor. I had been using an Asus USB monitor. It was ok, but the USB limits the video performance, and I wanted a larger monitor. The Sibolan was exactly what I needed. At 17.3" the text is noticeably larger, and I don't need any drivers, since it is native HDMI. It fits in my backpack, which is designed for a 17" laptop. I bought two - my wife uses the second one. She has a ThinkPad X1 Extreme, with a 15.6" screen, and used the Sibilan as her main monitor, with the laptop itself as secondary. The monitor fits in her much smaller backup, although it is a tight fit.I was a little hesitant to buy from a brand I had not heard of, but I'm very happy with my purchase. My only complaint is that the monitor cam with a neoprene cover, not the cover/stand shown on Amazon. I do worry a little bit about the screen being damaged during travel. On the plus side, the neoprene is super light, and so far no damage.

I bought this monitor thinking that it would be quality based on its specs and high price. I was sadly mistaken. The monitor flickers for over 30 minutes when turned on. The manufacturer said it was due to the 5-volt charger, so they sent out a 9-volt charger, but the problem persisted. They now want me change out the motherboard by myself. They have resisted sending me a refund or an exchange. I would have been better off purchasing a ASUS monitor. What a waste of $270.00.

just bought this one sibolan s4s but my screen a little bit saturated and bright.may you suggest a best setup with my ps4 fat version non hdr?

I was a bit hesitant on purchasing this portable monitor because there were no reviews but upon receiving I was very much surprised at the full 1080P video quality and its slim design virtually no lag when gaming it feels sturdy because of the aluminum alloy housing and it also doubles as a second laptop monitor :) Definitely worth the price!!!!
