Vanilla Ice Cream

Great book, timely delivery.

My 3 year old twins really liked this book, especially because they love vanilla ice cream. The illustrations are adorable and are fun to use to tell parts of the story where there are no words. I like the author's idea of expressing how something seemingly minor and commonplace could have a much bigger impact on a person than you might think. I recommend this book to any young reader who likes books, animals, and vanilla ice cream.

I'm an early educator and this is an incredibly written book!!! The illustrations are phenomenal and allow you to lead with questions with your child while reading. Really great story and adorable as it comes full circle ☺️ my 3 year old loves it!!

Go on a wonderful journey with this little sparrow. You'll travel from the fields of India across the sea to a large American city where something very unexpected will occur. I found the illustrations here very appealing (especially the sea voyage part) and the limited text allows the reader to supply an additional, personalized storyline. Just wish the hero wasn't always in a buggy. The age range who will most enjoy are well on their feet by now.
