Overall these look great and the quality is good. I have an '89 Chevy Silverado and the internal frame rail on the new taillights was too big. They kept hitting the frame on my Chevy before I could get the screws started. So took a dremel tool and shaved down the inside rails on the taillights so the lights would fit onto the truck. Otherwise, I couldn't get the lights to fit close enough to the truck frame to get the screws started. I also compared the new taillights to the stock ones I took out and the inside frame rails were wider/bigger on the new taillights as compared to the stock. No biggie, just an 10 minutes in installing. Love how they look on the truck.

Right side fit fine, left side is VERY close to the tailgate. Unfortunately I need these right now so I have no real option to return them. 3 stars is a combination of 1 star for crappy consistency and dishonest marketing (saying it fits), and 4.5 stars for the "hey, it's 50 bucks, what did you expect..." I'm just telling you what to expect and that is this... when is gets hot out expect your tailgate (if you have a tailgate model) to slam into the lens and crack it. There are about 2mm of space on the let side. And the gaskets don't come close to sealing up with the fender on either side. The company figured that people attracted to the word "Spyder" being spelled incorrectly would not be aware this isn't right. Anyway, I would pay twice the asking cost if it fit and wouldn't leave giant gaps on my rear fenders. I'll be replacing these before the rainy season. Eff you Spyder. Go Taiwan, secure your reputation in the manufacturing community as Emperor of disposable new stuff.

These didn't give me the look I was expecting. I gave them to a friend who had a broken tail light assembly on his truck, so he needed it more than I did. He likes it, so it went to good home. One thing I did notice when I installed them on my '98 Cheyenne and then again when I installed them on his '96 Silverado, they are actually smaller then the original TL assemblies and do not really provide good fit and finish. They don't come all the way out to the side of the fleet side panels like the original TL assemblies do. Something to keep in mind.

They're a little tacky if you ask me, but the truck you put these on has probably seen better days, anyway. I bought them because my stock lamps were rusted and dry rotted beyond repair. These were a quick and easy install. Just be sure you buy the bulbs and circuit boards if you need them, as these are only the housing.

I have these as replacements for my 90 chevy extended cab/short bed and love them. Regardless of the amount of light my taillights for braking and signals can be seen. Living in Oklahoma and our hot summers and bright sun, ease of viewing is mandatory. Installation was cake! I recommend these for anyone looking to add a bit of flash to there trucks.

*Update* Best aftermarket replacement I've ever bought. I got these [in 2015] and wanted to say they're still looking very new. They've been in subzero winter weather, the desert in the summer, and everything in between. Pic with blue tarp is from 2015, Pic with mattress from Oct 2022. Never fogged, still looking amazing.

I like the look not to modern looking. nice and bright at night . easy to install took ten min. just make sure rubber seal is on good. the only problem where the red meets the black on the tail light you can see through the crack . glares out if that makes sense at night a little bit.

These taillights look so much better than the originals. The fit and quality is good, installation is very simple. If you've ever changed bulbs on a Yukon/Tahoe/88-98 truck before the process is exactly the same. I installed mine on a metallic green Yukon GT and they look like GM should have used them in the first place. If you've got faded/cracked/dull looking factory lenses I'd recommend purchasing a set of these to give your truck a new look rather than trying to clean the old ones.

Arrived in good time. These fit well and look great! 15 min to take the old ones off and put the new ones on.

Great lights, sharp looking and have held up so far. Would recommend.
