Pixel Case Google - Clear

This hard plastic case, while sleek, is so slippery that it gives you no grip while holding it. The top clear part will attract scratches if you even look at it. And the hard plastic doesn't provide much protection.In fact, my pixel was in my back pocket and the glossiness made sure that it veritably jumped and nose dived into the loo. I now have a dead, waterlogged phone and a pinky finger that hurts from supporting said dead phone, because I made the mistake of trusting this seemingly licensed/Google branded case.

The product is of great quality and fits perfectly. The sleek transparent back cover provides the right texture and friction for you to hold the phone. One of the best features is the way the back panel transitions to the fingerprint reader. It's at the perfect angle and seems seamless

Case is really good. Since it's hard plastic it breaks sooner. Amazon pricing strategy is awesome. They simply increase the actual price and then show as If they are giving huge discount.I have seen this scenario many times

The Google Pixel back case is made up of a very good quality material. It is worth purchasing. Value for money.

It's not value for money, but a very refined product for a pixel user. But I strongly recommend using your phone without any covers, to increase its battery life and performance.

I got my pixel xl last year in June with one of these cases. It was great, the colour was amazing and the rubber felt really nice and gave me a good grip so I never had any trouble holding the large phone in my small hand. A few months later it started to come apart at the corners. After a couple of drops it completely gave up around those sensitive areas. So I bought another case, hand trembling on the "buy" button since £30 is a lot of money for a case. Second one fell apart in less time than the first one in the exact same way. Both times I had bought it directly from Google. I swore I wouldn't spend another £30 for it so I went on Amazon to find something better. I found the same case for £9.99 and because I'm a woman and apparently hard wired to fall for price cuts, I did it yet again. Only this time I bought the clear version instead of the colourful one. The surprise was that the clear one is made out of hard plastic, not rubber. The even bigger surprise was that the plastic is brittle and it broke in about a week, on the top side where it's narrow because of the camera. I now realize why it was on sale and more than that, I realize that Google is trying to coast on their previous quality and not actually doing anything anymore.*If you didn't catch the math, I spent £70 in a little over a year on Google cases alone. And now I need to spend yet some more.
