ARTEZA Canvas Boards for Painting, 8 x 8 Inches, Pack of 14, Blank White Canvas Panels for Acrylic, Oil and Gouache Painting

Got these canvas panels as a last resort for some upcoming oil paintings I have ideas for and they are pretty good! Compared to some of the cheaper alternatives I have tried in the past that Amazon offers, such as US art supply liberty, conda, artlicious, phoenix, these don't have much tooth to them and don't warp which is great. They are good to use with my oils. Not as good as masters touch or artist loft panels, but definitely not the worst. Two out of the 15 panels were warped out of the box though, but I suppose that's due to the packaging, I am sure I can flatten them out somehow. We'll see how the panels hold up over time and if they warp, but they seem to be decent quality. Of course always try to go for stretched canvas if possible, but these Arteza canvas panels are great to practice on.

I really liked the material and the size at first but unfortunately as my painting dried , the canvas corners started to curl up and peel off the back board . I wanted to go forth with the return , but I already used the canvas. Very unfortunate to waste paint and time :(

I have been using these boards when testing colors and techniques for pour painting. They're inexpensive, so I don't mind if an experiment fails. The problem is that they consistently warp. It's not a lot, and they would probably straighten out if framed, but I don't usually intend to frame them. I also have the 5x7 - inch size, which also warps, but I can get those to flatten out by turning them over for a few days after the paint dries.

Just be aware that each canvas panel has a full-sized advertisement for the company on the back. Wish the back was just white as I provide information on my paintings and cannot do that with these panels.

You get a lot in the package I use regular stretched canvas too. Theese panels are good as practice pieces. I experimented with a few different techniques with paint. The surface is just like a canvas. Good value. Id deff buy again maybe in a different size.

Ok I know a few people were dissatisfied on the part of it being sturdy. Well to use this particular canvas for acrylic paint, it’s probably a good idea to use a soft body paint and wait a good amount of time between layers. Maybe use an extender for your paint so you don’t have to use so much of it. For instants a gloss medium or a flow-aid. Just google it or go Jerry’s Artarama on You Tube that’s how I found out about that information.

I was going to do a challenge and needed 30 canvasses and I found this wonderful deal. When they arrived I was impressed with the fact that each canvas board was wrapped. When I began the first painting, I was pleased with the way the paint spread ove the surface making painting easier. I feel that this was a great buy for a very good product and I will buy again.

Ordered for my son's classroom Valentine's day project. Came fast and great size for a quick class project. Sturdy board and white color. Only bad thing is that each one is very tightly wrapped in plastic and a challenge to open with scissors without cutting the back paper. Patience!

Great for experimenting with fluid acrylic painting

Ich habe diesen Malkarton erstanden weil er günstiger war als der Karton den ich zuletzt gekauft habe. Fazit für Acyrlic Pouring ist er meiner Meinung nach nicht geeignet. Die Ränder haben sich gelöst und vor allem kam das weiß der Leinwand an den Rändern nach einem Tag oben auf dem Bild teilweise hervor. Mit dem zuvor verwendeten Karton hatte ich solche Probleme auf allen 10 Bildern nicht. Auf den hier verwendeten hatte ich das Phänomen bei allen 3 bisher gepourten Bildern.

Funcionan bien para oleos o acrílica, son pequeños y el soporte lo da al interior un cartón duro, por lo que son delgados (no como un lienzo con madera)

Llegaron a tiempo, completos pero al abrirlos encontré tres piezas manchadas de color café. Los recomiendo por precio, pero estos lienzos los tendré que usar para fondos obscuros.

These canvases are fantastic quality, I use a good amount of acrylic in my work and the finished productnever seems to warp. You can say that about all the canvases in this size.
