France for the Indian Traveller: An informative guide to top cities and regions, beaches and valleys, hotels, restaurants, shopping and cuisine

This book is written from perspective of Indian traveler rather than general. Because a lot of Indians are vegetarians so book provides information about veg restaurants. All pages are in colour so that is very pleasing to eyes.

France for Indian Traveller is a nice handy book.I purchased it, as I was planning a 2 week stay in France.There were lots of information, on various regions of France and details provided were really good.However, the one aspect that eluded a 5-star rating for this book was the fact that their suggested itinerary, did not look practically possible. For instance "France in two weeks" & their suggestions of visiting various places looked good on paper but wouldn't have been possible to visit them in the given stipulated time, as visiting the grand museums in France eats up a lot of time.I also checked with my French friend & I was told the same.Nonetheless the book had many positives: Colourful images, information about Indian restaurants, special section for parents taking their kids & these sorts of attention to detail were very...very good & even more was the fact the purchasing via Amazon helped me save 50% from the MRP.

Nice Comments and suggestions for travellers

this book provides concise and to the point information. It has covered various tourist places in france and it has a nice and pleasing appeal, with good images and glossy paper. Even though the itinerary provided looks a bit packed, I felt it covered the major sight seeing places. Personally, I found this book more readable than the full blown lonely planet france, that book was an information overload.
