Tight weave, single faced satin ribbon but as it's not excessively shiny like most cheap ribbons, the back is only slightly more matte than the front so not too noticable when tied into a bow. Lovely quality and the red is deep, bright and warm without too many brassy orange tones. I'm used to using Berisfords and Shindo and, whilst those are both true double-faced satins, this is a perfect budget option. I use mine for tying cake pops and treat bags.Would absolutely recommend and use again.

Hi sorry to complain but I have bought this 10mm ribbon on a number of occasions and never had a problem with it till now. I use the ribbon to tie up chocolate oranges to raise money for our local cancer charity. I understand you can get a join sometimes 2 on a roll but one of my rolls had 3 joins.and was also very creased at the end of the roll. Very annoying as it meant I had 3 lengths that was to short and no use to me and the end of the roll was no use either. I still have 3 rolls to cut up yet so I am hoping they are not same.

I used this to wrap Christmas presents instead of normal present ribbon. However this seemed to go down a treat with many people wanting to save the ribbon to either wrap presents or do crafting with! So overall very happy customer.

I love ribbon, especially for Christmas gifts.Really sturdy ribbon, nice and soft so it's easy to wrap around present bundles, easy to tie bows with. not too slippery that it's a pain to tie a bow with!
