Telfa Adhesive Dressing

This is great to have in your first aid kit. They make sure not to stick to the wound like regular gauze.

I thought the value of this product would be most important, because telfa is telfa and this had the bonus adhesive strips on one side. Right? Nope! It depends upon what you are looking for; price is very important to me as I'm on a limited, fixed income. However, functionality is most important. These adhesive bandages don't stick well (as compared to Curad brand). These will ball up under your clothing (bras, panties), the non-adherent shiny side peels off of the bandage, and you get the little black marks similiar to the ones left behind if tape has left some stick'em on your skin. I have scattered Psoriatic arthritis and atopic dermatitis lesions and I go thru 10 of these in one dressing change. The Curad brand is cost prohibitive, but I'm just not sure I will invest in this brand again. Once in a public restroom, two of them fell on the floor when I lowered my pants! UGH.

I like the non stick pad because when you take it off it doesn’t tear at your wound.

These were a lifesaver for a wound that needed to be completely covered for about 3 months but needed to be changed every 12 hours. It did not stick and pull off the areas that were healing. They come in many sizes so I got the one that would best fit. All healed now!

I bought something similar from pharmacy stores and these are a bit too sticky. Which can be good for some wounds but not mine. Overall still a 5 star.

With multiple surgery incisions, the Telfa pads are the ONLY ones that never stuck to the incision. I would give them 10 stars if I could.
