The Sleeping Beauty Ballet Theatre Misc. Supplies – September 11, 2007

With a three dimensional theater set, complete with interchangeable backdrops, curtains, scenery, and characters, this is a truly imaginative and interactive set that allows children to read the story of Sleeping Beauty, listen to the excerpts from the classical symphony on the CD, and act out the ballet using the 3D theater. As a parent, it helps to play along with your child, or at least be on hand, because kids are going to most likely be frustrated and lose patience with the theater and its set pieces. If you follow the guidelines in the book, and pause the CD in between Acts to change the sets, from start to finish the whole play takes about 30 minutes. For smaller children this is essential because they won't know what to do. If you take the time to sit with them they will enjoy it.

I highly recommend all of the Ballet Theatres - Sleeping Beauty, Swan Lake and the Nutcracker Suite. They are updated versions of paper dolls with a beautiful cd to play as the children help the dolls dance and act out the story. My two granddaughters (ages 8 and 12) have spent many hours playing with them and the dolls have held up well. They both know the stories of the ballets and enjoy recreating them very much. A nice box is included to keep everything together. They are great for a nice afternoon activity.

I bought this for my granddaughter but I at 61 found it so delightful and fun that I had to do my own performance of the ballet for myself. The theater, stage props and people along with the music are easy to use and very artistically done. My granddaughter can later use the theater, if she wants, to perform her own plays with scenery, characters and music.

I gave it to a child who lives a distance away, but I have a photo of him playing happily with it. He loves the cd and the interactive stage. It's a unique gift at a bargain price.

Bought it as a Christmas present for a little girl so I won't know until then how she reacts. Pleased with the speedy delivery and it looks very interesting and hope it brings much happiness to her.

My granddaughter takes dance lessons, so I ordered this for her. She is in the first grade. She really likes it.

This is a beautifully realised gift for any child learning ballet and discovering the theatre. It has my granddaughters engrossed. It enriches their experience in actually seeing the ballet and enables them to recall what they have seen. The presentation is delightful.

This ballet theatre is exquisite. The stage scenes, ballet figures, music cd and and booklet are beatifully designed. A treasure for any little or big ballerina! Arrived in good time and well packaged.

My tomboy nieces have been delighted by this. The accompanying book and CD make this an excellent introduction to the ballet.

My daughter loves this mini stage it is well made and looks beautiful she does note tire from changing the props and putting on her shows not always Sleeping Beauty which is great as she uses her own imagination.

Compact. Easy to put together. Quite amazing. A charming present but delicate..for careful children..love the story book and cd. She danced round the room for ages. Potential to enjoy this toy at many levels
