Final TouchFrench Press 4 Minute Coffee Timer (DCT9101)

For some reason I thought paying $15 for a 4-minute timer must have meant that this was going to be of superior quality, wrong! The timer came with a battery already installed plus a spare, but the LED characters were not complete which usually means the battery was low. No problem, they were kind enough to ship a spare.....but....the screw to open the battery compartment is so small I had to search the garage for a screw driver small enough. After wasting 30 minutes looking for a screw driver I got the screw out then almost had to break the timer to get the compartment open. Then getting the battery into the small space corretly took multiple attempts. Finally got the battery in and the timer read 7:00 minutes, not 4:00 minutes. Then the buttons hardly worked. Then when the alarm did go off it wasn't loud enough to be heard across the room. This product is just inferior and cheap. Stay away!

This timer would be great if it worked. Nice design but we went through two returns before giving up on the third. Pretty much like all the other bad reviews I read too late. Has a swollen battery in it. Nearly impossible to get battery cover off without scratching up the plastic. First two were set at 9 minutes. Third one was working well and showed 4 minutes but went dead after 4 or 5 days.

I did not like anything about the product. Dim screen and beeping hard to hear. I changed the battery thinking it was low and after I changed the battery the timer is now a 9 minute timer.

The battery was incredibly difficult to put in and as a result I gave up after trying for 30 minutes and returned it.

Topped working after one week. Not worth the money.

Do not buy this product. It is garbage and every review that says it doesn’t work properly is completely accurate. It is not a four minute timer, as stated. It is either a seven or nine minute.

This product does not work as instructed. There is no way to stop and reset a timer once it has started. The R/S button does not do anything.

I ordered two of these. One of the two was set to 7 minutes instead of 4 and there is no way to correct this. The clip should be flat instead of angled because it only touches together at the tip. Also, the beep is too quiet.
