Far exceeded my expectations, both service and product. Given 4 stars cause of the awkward molle on the front. Standard molle pouches still work if needed. Slim design, excellent organization. Currently used to hold all the little things to set up camp or worst case if I become lost in the woods.

I use a Red Rock mag shoulder bag for my EDC(two years running hard use, it's held up really well), and needed a little more compartmentalization more than space, so was glad to find this pouch. It sorts my core art supplies & writing instruments about perfectly; am looking forward to how well it settles into my routine. If I could change anything, it would be probably to add a little in depth & width, being pretty slim. The flatness suits the wearability though, so it's a worthy tradeoff for how most people will use it. The zippers could glide better, but it's no obstacle.The plastic pocket IS double-sided, and it's not clear from pictures that it's sealed by pretty hardcore Velcro, so that was a cool surprise. The backside is also lined in vinyl. As someone who canoes with the bag I'll take any water resistance I can get. Build quality definitely seems a notch above 5.11's most recent MOLLE pouches, er, zippers aside.Red Rock is again punching well above their weight in this category, I definitely shop them before peers, and look forward to passively abusing their gear in years to come.

Asked for ACU, got Black instead

This pouch is durable and really well constructed.The interior has four spaces for pens, knives, ect. It has a main compartment which is the zip closure, inside of which has three additional spaces. One is a clear plastic closure that has a velcro strip at the top to secure it, another is a rear most compartment which is accessible from the top of the pouch for loose items, lastly on the face of the rear most pocket there are bungee slots for individual pens, pencils, knives, or other long items.The pouch is easy to install on a Molle rig with its two straps that secure at the bottom with snap together clasps.Simple to attach and very sturdy once finished.It is a little bit of a tight fit for longer pens or pencils, but those can be placed at an angle in the rear most pocket.All in all, this is a great item.

A bit bigger than I thought. It looked to me like it would take up roughly a quarter of my vest. It's a very good attachment, but sadly takes up the entire top half of my vest

Difficult to use. Hard to zip open and closed when attached to vest.

Very Good for its intended use. I have two and both are great. On one side is quite a few "pen" slots and a few oversized ones which can fit a few UNWRAPPED chem lights. I keep a bug spray ben, a tide to go pen, a few pencils, and a few chem lights on that side. On the "waterproof side I keep a few misc. items I would like to keep dry..(matches and papers) Lo pro enough to add on a backpack without adding to the size. Fits PERFECT on my Red Rock Rambler sling pack..

Smaller than I expected but very high quality nonetheless.

Great quality, absolutely love it! Has a bunch of super convienet loops for pens, pencils, siccors, basically any thing, also comes with a small pouch for random things and has a clear section with a Velcro seal, presumably for maps! My back pack only had large pouches but no good spot to put pencils, this was the perfect solution, fits my back packs colour and attached via MOLLE very well!

Perfect size. Zipper split after a while though. I haven't been able to find another black one.

It's tough, but it's nowhere near as big as Red Rock's own website claims. Red Rock states the Admin Pouch has the following dimensions: Measures: 6"L x 2.25"W x 6.5"HIn reality, it's more like 6"L x 3/4"W x 5". I couldn't even squeeze in a typical paperback novel. It's not big enough to hold my tablet or even a field guide. I could perhaps fit a tiny notebook or journal and some pens, or a toothbrush and simple toiletries. Definitely sending this back.A crying shame, too. I have a Red Rock pack which I love. They make tough equipment. But they need to get their dimensions right. It matters.

red rock outdoor gear is amazing bang for your buck. All the materials used are very high quality, i didn't think this product was going to be as big as it was (6"x9") but it will do for what i need it for. the waterproof compartment is great for maps.

Extremely durable, best material. Small, but just what I needed.
