Great Water Bottle For Your Pet!
Lightweight, colorful, functional, this water bottle is a great doggie gift or buy one for your own pet! The bottle opens in two ways: To fill it, unscrew the main top, which you can also pour water into and use as a cup for drinking. The smaller cap unscrews to reveal a "floating ball" that when your pet's tongue touch it, it will push inward and release water...just enough to carefully disperse enough water to quench thirst. Repeated tries release more water w/o it spilling. Great idea for walks, rides in the car or just keep handy near you on the couch, if your dog might want a quick drink. Really makes a great dog-owner gift! And there's a spring-type fastener like one you would use for keys at the top of the bottle, so you can hang it.

Nice Water Bottle
I like the size of this bottle which is one of the reasons I selected it. I bring my dogs on long walks so this is great. It is very easy to clean and use. The top cap once and awhile get misaligned so have to start over again before you seal it up. Check it before you put it into your bag or pocket. Water does leak out from around the metal ball as other people has mentioned. In a way this is a good thing well at least for my dogs. When I went to give them a drink and they saw the water dripping they immediately knew what to do to get the water. One thing to consider will your dog drink from it. Some dogs like drinking more from a bowl than a dripping bottle. One of my dogs is stubborn when he come home from a walk with his tongue hanging out he doesn't go toe the water bowl. So I have to call him over and put some water on my hand and drip it on mouth so he starts drinking then he drink the water. With that in mind is why I picked this bottle and he does drink from it. I let water drip into my hand to start then my stubborn one starts drinking from the bottle. He gets it now.

I love this pet bottle, but more over my puppy likes it.
It is very easy to clean. It keeps the water cold, so to me it was worth the money.

works just like it promises
This is SO much easier than fooling around with portable bowls and bottles of water. Because of the roller ball, very little water is wasted. It comes out at a rate that satisfies my dog yet doesn't pour out around his mouth. Other dogs at the dog park would often drink or knock over my dog's water. This is so much better. The top cap screws on tightly so there are no leaks or messes. There is a carabiner that comes with it. It's too heave for a belt but it is handy to hook to the handle of my semi-rigid dog bag so it doesn't get knocked around. To get my dog to use it I put a little smear of peanut butter around the rim. He took to it quickly. I would give it five stars if I could throw the whole thing in the dishwasher but hand washing is pretty standard for any insulated bottle. I got mine for a very good price. Don't pay the $50-$70 some sellers are asking. Look around and you'll find one for $20 or less.

Great bottle, misleading product photos.
Bought this bottle as a replacement for one we received as a gift that started leaking after many years of heavy use. Best idea ever! However, what you DON'T see in this listing is that it says PET WATER BOTTLE down the side in big black letters. I actually would have preferred to have the brushed stainless, but chose this one so it wouldn't be "labelled" this way. How dumb, and a little misleading not to show this HUGE detail in the listing photos...

Best Style to Take on Walks / Dog Park Days
Love this dog bottle design and get tons of compliments on it. Wish the lid were made from sturdier material as we have had an item like this previously that held up well for 2 years. After a lot of dropping due to the dog pulling / etc the lid finally started leaking on that older one so I bought this. Hoping to not drop this one as much! Do not hold by carabiner / string is my best advice to avoid dropping! Those will eventually wear out if you are carrying it that way. If your dog is used to drinking water a different way from a regular water bottle it will be harder for you to train them to use this, but if they are used to a 'hamster' style water bottle in a cage already they will be good to go. To train our dog originally we just push on the little ball bearing inside the lid to get water to fall out and eventually they figure it out!

misleading picture...
That's why I gave only 3 stars. The roller is maybe a third smaller than pictured.Product closes easily and tightly and is easy to clean. I have a Service Dog and it's very handy to have this and a towel and know he's always got water, wherever we are. A hand towel takes care of drips. My Service Dog is a Rottweiler and the roller is VERY small for him. (Guess I'll just have to wait for the next generation new and improved.) Also, there's only one ball and I think the leaking would be maybe halved if they had TWO roller balls. (I'm not able to return it per seller rules.)Another downside is this company's return policy. There are SO many things that you CAN'T return they should put a BIG red blinking notice on all their product pages: "See our return policy BEFORE ordering." I see this as a company that is not as honest as I would like. And a good lesson for me about "buyer beware".

Best dog water bottle yet!
Very well designed! Easy to fill. My dog caught on the 2nd or 3rd time she tried it. Next time, she'll be asking for it. It's well made and will probably endure the occasional dropping and banging around which has destroyed other dog water bottles very quickly. Tends to drip water quite a bit, so it's OK outside, but not in the car. A bigger ball would allow the dog to get more water, but might be too much for very small dogs. This is kind-of slow for my large thirsty husky dog, but it worked great.

Easy and convenient way to keep your dogs hydrated!
My furr baby loves he's new water bottle.Pro's....1) keeps the water cool2) it's a good size3) it has a metal clip so you can attract it to a belt etc..4) Beautiful design5) my boy loves it and so does he's pals on our walk.6) fantastic idea for dogs who love water bottles.7) has a separate screw top to allow you to fill the water up.8) plenty of room inside the bottle to add ice for long summer walks.9) The concept is much more accessible than carrying around bowls and water separately. This way it's all compact!Cons...1) Very tricky to close the top part.... if it's not lined up correctly it leaks.2) the string attachment at the top which holds the lid in place when it's undone is far too short.Hence the problem with tightening the lid. This string also has the clip attached to it which also makes it difficult.3) when my boy is drinking from the bottle you lose water which is unavoidable I guess.. .so we carry a paper cup with us to catch the excess drips and pour it back or my dog drinks it.4) The bottle can become fairly heavy once filled as the bottle itself is fairly heavy.6) A little expensive... But it is a product I can see lasting as it's durable.Overall the pro's outweigh the Cons.A few minor problems but with practise become avoidable or managable. The idea of a water bottle for dogs- that is basically a giant hamster water bottle is very very clever and it works!Easy and convenient way to keep your dogs hydrated.Would I recommend..... most definitely Yes!!!Plus a 4β Paws up from my furr baby who loves he's new water bottle.

Puppy Paws Pet Water Bottle, 750 ml
I really like the idea behind this bottle and use it a lot for dog walking and that the bottle part is made from stainless steal and seems fairly indestructible. However, I have deducted 2 stars as the cap is not so well made. The small part of it that undoes for a dog to drink from became detached from the ring that keeps it connected to the string. I don't quite understand how that happened as I'd only used the bottle a couple of times before hand. It doesn't affect the bottles functionality on the whole, with it still being water tight but it means the cap is loose when I remove it rather than still being attached via the string. Not the fault of the bottle or how it is made but this size when full is really quite heavy and if I had really thought about it I'd have bought a smaller one. I have a miniature schnauzer who's large for her breed and even on long walks rarely gets through half the water.

Practical water saving bottle - great for hot days.
Great idea - took a couple of days for my dog to get used to using it, but now he gets the concept of keeping licking the ball to release the water. All the other dogs we walk with seemed more interested in using it than he was at first - I think the noise the bottle makes when it is first tipped up - metal ball at the end makes a little thunk noise - may have put him off initially. I like the idea that it is free of possibly harmful chemicals that can be found in the plastic containers. Seems to keep water cooler also. Best of all, as the water doesn't comes gushing out, it means that the water supply lasts longer and isn't wasted, so great on the hotter days we have been experiencing. I have had lots of comments asking about it as it is quite eye catching. Pleased with the purchase and would recommend it.

Great bottle...if your dog isn't freaked out by it
I'm giving this 5 stars because it is a great bottle. Just because my dog happens to dislike it doesn't mean that there is a design flaw. I think it's the sound of the ball when he's taking a drink from it. I haven't given up on it yet and try him every so often so hopefully he'll get the hang of it. Most dogs do, just maybe not my dog. We'll see.
