Live Sphagnum Moss Long Fiber Great for Plants Amphibians Terrariums One Pound

Got this into the 6 gallon terrarium for my Miniature Orchid. Looks great having live plants! This product came from another part or the world. Has one ever grown mass quantities of "ANYTHING"? Well...gowning my tomato plants during the summer spawned MANY BUGS, DIRT and OTHER CREATURES. Moss grows on the GROUND. You think BUGS MAY GET IN IT? MY package came in, I would say about 1/5 live, pulled out "funny stuff". Used half (Living) parts in two LARGE (6 Gallon) terrariums, and kept the rest in a gallon Zip-Lock. Well...after a couple months, (opening the bag to air out a few times every other week) the "dead" stuff took off and I have more than I can handle. Looking to make another terrarium and using the rest in the bag..lol. The bag is blowing out of it's seams. Negative ratings? REALLY? WHAT ARE YOU LOOKING FOR? MAGIC??? This was a great deal. I'll post pictures when I get around to it...

DO NOT BUY! I have three issues with this product. 1-Clearly taken from nature and not commercially grown; this person is making money by raping local wetlands. 2-It being naturally grown meant that about 1/5 the bag was non-sphagnum vegetable matter--dead leaves and needles; riddled with bugs. 3-About half the bag was dead with no active growth tips.

Moss was mostly dead upon arrival. Definitely does not look like the healthy green moss in the photo. Generously, about 1/5 of it was alive.
