Beautiful felt flower ideas
This is a great little book for flower ideas, but the how to's are not photo illustrated, just written instructions until the end section; which is about needle & wet felting. Like that section!

Wonderful Book
I like this book ~ it has a wonderful assortment of flower designs and gives great tips for wet and dry felting. The diversity of flowers is really lovely too and I will be making most of them in the book. The way the book is set up is definitely different than most guidebooks in that each project refers to the back of the book for actual "how-to's". I have to admit this part is a bit odd and the only reason I gave this book 4 stars instead of 5.It comes with all of the flower templates which is great! I purchased the digital version so I'm not sure if the printed book actually comes with printed templates or if the book also refers to a link where you can download and print the templates out. The digital book is easy to use though because as I mentioned in the above paragraph the "how-tos" are in the back of the book but the links from each project take you right to that part of the book so you don't have to search through the pages. For this reason I actually recommend the digital version over the printed version.All-in-all this book gave me exactly what I was looking for and I'm quite happy with my purchase. I would definitely recommend this friends and family with a quick explanation about the "how-to's" section. I think the author did a lovely job on the example photos and the cover and I hope she publishes another book with more creative inspiration!

complicated.
Too complicated without being able to watch a video of the process. Not enough photos that show what is being done. I a, disappointed.

SPLENDID FOR BEGINNERS AND EXPERTS
Colour pictures are beautiful; instructions are good and clear; diagrams are easy to follow. Unless you know a bit about felt, you might try these on any old felt . . not a good idea! Follow her directions - felting wool yourself as suggested is indeed better. However, if you choose pre-made felt, make sure it is all wool and has no starch or stiffeners in it (if so, I suggest you wash it!).We have tried several flowers and they all came out pretty good the first time, with felted real wool. They are now hat decor -- next comes, maybe, a wall-hanging?!Then we'll find some raw wool and do it the best way - felt it ourselves!

Amazing Book!
This book is amazing! I love the clear instructions, and the patterns in the back of the book!Pro Tip: make a photo copy of the patterns on cardstock, cut out, then use as pattern for cutting/felting.I made the lily with a sheet felt base on the petals. As you can see, I haven't done the stamen yet (had not ordered stiffener... whoops).Side Note: Please wear the leather finger cots. That felting needle goes through flesh like butter, and heals slowly because of the barbs going in.

Inspirational!
I ordered this book as I have just decided to have a go at needle felting. My main interest is in making flowers in felt to use with my embroidery and beadcraft projects. The instructions are clear and easy to follow and the flowers created are gorgeous. It has also inspired me to try wet felting in the future. Really beautiful book.

I feel this will be very useful for me to show another way of using needle felting instead of using polystyrene moulds. I visualise making pictures with these flowers and perhaps making some with green stems to put in a vase when there are no fresh flowers in the garden available for display in the house.

Felting for Flower Lovers!
This great book arrived today, and as I had just completed a needle felting workshop last week this book will get me started at home. The illustrations are very good and the photography is excellent.. I would recommend this book to anyone starting out in needle felting.
