Works as expected
Plenty of documentation online on how to wire these with a stepper motor

missing a heat sink
seem ok , and cannot be bothered with all the endless screens and automated chats to return as I want to proceed with y project but this came one heat sink short. order early in order to request a return if time is critical for you

Good Product
Used for stepper motor drivers on an automated vertical blind project. Working fine at the moment. Easy to set up the current limiting.

Very good for the money would recommend as I thought the quality was good for me

3 out of 5 not working
I was lucky that the first one I pulled from the pack of 5 for my prototype was ok as otherwise I would have been scratching my head for a while. From the rest, three were broken with one exhibiting a complete short.

Stuck potentiometer
The potentiometer is pretty much stuck in place making it impossible to limit the current directly, or at least after trying multiple screwdriver sizes I could not rotate the thing.

Basic stepper drivers
Arrived fast, bought for upgrade to 3d printer. Basic but do the job well.

Good overall quality
These A4988 drivers do what 'they say on the tin' performing as per the commands you give them from your microcontroller. They are however like I think all A4988 chips a bit noisy in operation.I have found step accuracy to be good but I can't live with the noisy operation, so couldn't give 5 star review. If your application is driven through a belt drive this might not be so much of a problem for you.
