Love this dicer!
Kroger sells a small container of diced peppers, onions, tomatoes and cilantro that I bought often. Got tired of spending more money than it was worth and wondered if I can buy my own dicing machine. Decided on this one.It comes with two sizes of attachments for dicing, one is bigger than the other.I use the small one for peppers and onions (haven’t tried much else yet) and the bigger one for tomatoes. If you want to dice tomatoes, they have to be firm (close to green) tomatoes. Ripe tomatoes will not work, they get squished, not diced. I cut out the inside of the tomato and it works great for dicing and adding to my homemade tabouli or cilantro salad. In the attached photo is cilantro. I add olive oil, fresh lemon juice, salt and pepper and it tastes really good! It’s a little difficult to clean but not horrendous. You probably have to use the brush that’s included.I found that you have to really slam the top down hard to dice it in one go so if you’re a little weak, you might have to press down a few times to dice whatever you’re dicing.

I bought it for Chopping onions and does what I needed it to do !!.
I bought mainly for chopping onions and does it’s job nicely. Sometimes it gets mushy and stuck but that’s because of the texture and quality of onion ... push it second time and chops them to pieces. I like the fact that the onion chopping is s breeze and nice equal shaped cut pieces makes to cook them evenly. No complaints ... loving it.

This design works. Buy this one.
I started an IG account to highlight eating local, growing your groceries, and benefits of the African diet. I cook with A LOT OF VEGETABLES. I do a crazy amount of vegetable chopping. I feel like a professional vegetable chopper. I went through at least three other vegetable choppers because they were EXTREMELY convenient for vegetable prep BUT the arm kept breaking. They were NOT for heavy or long term use. The were NOT good for chopping more solid vegetables like potatoes... but this product met and exceeded my expectations. This is not a paid Ad. I just really don't want you to waste money on the other products like I did. This design eliminates the worry of breaking it and having to spend more money on another product. Cleaning the top portion is still a challenge but the convenience far outweighs this slight annoyance. Follow my vegetable chopping journey across all social media platforms @PlatesOnPurpose

DO NOT BELIEVE THE REVIEWS
I used it the first time, and it worked with onions.. Next time it worked too. The third time, the onion got stuck and could not go through. Probably the blades are poor quality. I returned the product, fortunately, and got a refund (thanks to AMAZON for that). Cleaning the blades is a mess, I almost cut my fingers several times using their bruh because if you press it is flimsy and if you press too hard, your finger or hand is going to be cut.I bought it only because of the good reviews. I do not know who writes these reviews. TERRIBLE PRODUCT. Should be removed to protect Amazon's reputation.

Easier to use a knife
The blades get stuck so I have to pry it apart with each use. Really not saving me time like I had hoped.

So easy to use
Works great for me. I especially like it with making french fries. no more cutting by hand. Takes little space for storage too.

It only chops. The other “features” are useless due to poor design.
It works well as an onion chopper but is made of an inexpensive plastic. The other features don’t work because the unit is very small. I need accessibility aids because I am disabled and the two small, blue, round tools that are supposed to shred and such are not useful. They are very small and you have to give it very small sections of veggies. They are very difficult to apply enough pressure due to poor design. Softer veggies chop well onions, bell peppers, etc. I’m not sure how long it is going to work given the pressure that must be applied. It also has a water trap in the top of the chopper. I can’t get it open even though it is supposed to open. I hand wash it but fear I will eventually have to toss it due to hygiene concerns. $29.99 is al lot to pay for a chopper. Save yourself some money and find a quality chopper. I would have sent it back but I didn’t start using it until last month.

Love this chopper
I've tried other choppers from the electric with a spinning blade that pureed more than chopped and diced. I've also had other by hand chopper/dicers that were more difficult to change blades, etc. and did not diced as I had hoped. This litter chopper is absolutely perfect. You do have to put a bit of force into the downward motion when you chop, otherwise it will not cut and push the vegetable through, but for me that has not been an issue once I realized I needed to push down a bit more forcefully. The potatoes are perfectly diced small or medium when I do homestyle potatoes and the onions, peppers, etc. are also very uniform and perfectly diced. I would recommend this chopper/dicer to anyone. Love using mine and in fact look for reasons in my cooking to incorporate it whenever I can.
