Purchased this item in satin chrome, while restoring a pocket door separating the kitchen from the dining room. Being a bit of an ‘over-the-top’ hairsplitter, bought a second one, albeit in polished brass and united the two halves in order to show a polished brass on the dining room side, while the kitchen side exposed the satin chrome side of the passage pull. So as to coincide with the remainder of the room accents. Yes indeed, my wife considered committing me at that moment, but refrained because the dining room was still a worksite. The pocket pull openers are simple in their design, scratch-prone, and made of rather flimsy material (as a consequence commanding a modest price.) I wouldn’t qualify it as a quality item, even if it suited us in this instance (swayed by price) as the pocket door is normally hidden.

It looks fine. It works. It's just incredibly thin and flimsy.

This is a terrible prI duct. The sides are connected with a rivet meaning to get it over the door you need to bend it but that weakens the rivet. I trashed it and bought a much better one for half the price at Home Depot

This handle arrived and was exactly as described. Not as solid as the old pulls from 20 years ago but still pretty good. The only thing i didn't like was that there is no lip on the front face to cover the cut edge of the door which means your cut need to be very precise and clean. I would recommend and would buy again.
