In my experience the Bucky Neck Pillow is the best U-Shaped Neck Pillow on the market. If you want a straightforward design and no gimmicky design details choose this one. The fabric is so soft, it's very well made and lasts a long time. I love the very simple and comfy support, I can not sleep without it.

I bought my first Bucky (the purple one in the pic) back in the 90's at the airport when traveling on a red eye from Seattle to Florida. I work in front of a computer screen for 10-14 hours a day, so I tend to have a lot of tension in my neck. It was just OK on the plane ride, but what I eventually used it for was supporting my neck while sitting in my recliner. That Bucky eventually came to known as my "neck buddy" and everyone knew when the neck buddy came out that I would be asleep in just a few minutes. The Bucky has lasted all this time, but the cover is wearing, so I needed to order a new one. Based on other reviews by those who had also had their Buckys for many years, I was skeptical the new one would not be of the same quality or provide the same support. I was pleasantly surprised that my new Bucky does, in fact, give me the similar support. I do think the neck opening seems a little shorter (see pics), but maybe it's just because the older original one has stretched out? Don't know for sure. Regardless, it is still providing me good support and once it "comes out," I still go to sleep within minutes. I would recommend this Bucky for those needing to give their neck support.

My mom looked all over and couldn't find a smaller neck pillow that was comfortable and still supportive. I came across this and bought it for her. It's small (which is what she wanted) but really supports your neck without getting in the way. I think this would be good for people who drive long ways.

I just love these pillows. I finally purchased a new one for the first time in years. It really helps support my neck when it hurts. Unfortunately, the bag was not included as it stated so it’s the reason why I gave it lower rating. I was really happy when it said that it included the bag because I like to take my Bucky on long trips, but when I looked inside the cover, it wasn’t in there. I even took the Bucky out to make sure that I wasn’t missing it, but it was not there. I just think it would be nice that if it states that it has something in it that it’s there. I just bought several of their products, for example the mini Bucky, the compact wrap, and the warm/cold spa mask, as well. Would be nice to get a Complementary bag considering. Other than that, thank you for a great product.

You're looking for a very firm pillow Then this one meets that expectation. However I was shocked to Discover how tiny this product is! It will not fit around a normal neck. Maybe it was intended for children and I missed that the description. But no this is not for an average size human beings neck. That said the quality is lovely. It is filled with buckwheat and is very firm and I feel like it will last a long time period but I do not use it for my neck as it should be used for the reason the state is above.

After a disastrous fall at home, I've had to change my sleeping arrangements. I have owned a bucky neck pillow for several years but now I can't sleep without it. I'm on my 4th edition.

I love these Bucky neck pillows. I have slept on one for more than 20 years. I recently ordered two new ones to replace the ones I used all that time. I was glad they came with covers, because the covers from the old ones were worn. However, the zippers on the new Bucky pillows did not zip. I tucked them away in a drawer because in my busy life I did not have time to follow up with the company. I finally sent them an email explaining the faulty zippers and asking for replacement covers. They refused to replace the covers with ones that have functioning zippers. Here is the message I sent to them:"I am sorry to hear you will not stand behind your product. It would cost your company very little to satisfy a long-term customer.I don't know where to turn to find replacement covers for my Buckys that I have slept on every night for 20 years. The old ones are very worn but the new ones I ordered do not zip. Please let me know if you have any suggestions about finding replacement covers."Their reply:"I am not how to get replacement covers, as Bucky only offers the entire pillow. Covers are not sold separately. I am sorry I could not be of more help on this issue."It would have cost them so little to create goodwill from a longtime customer. I would have been writing a testimonial touting their products instead of sharing my disappointment.

Very disappointing. I have had two of these Bucky neck wraps before, and this one is completely different. They must be made by a different company now. My old one is much longer and more flexible. This one is stiff and the notch is way too small to wrap around my neck. Plus, it smells bad when I heat it up, like some kind of weeds or hay.
