long time fan
fleming actually reached down and held my hand while singing "love songs" at a free concert in riverfront park, Nashville. i have been a long time fan. as soon as i heard that the new cd was coming out i ran out and bought it. i was definately not dissapointed. this recent recording is as involved as it gets. inspired by john steinbecks novel, "the pearl", is as impressive lyricly as it is musicly. i was way off of base when i was guessing what "ugly girl" would be about. i was assuming that fleming was giving us a little insight into her soul. i heard it and had to laugh out loud. not just for the content of the song but that i could be so far off. fleming as i hope you already know is one of the most beautiful women gracing this planet. small in stature with a huge personality and stage presence. my recomendation is to get your hands on anything that these people have anything to do with. they succed in all ventures. i absolutely love these guys. given the oppurtunity i promise you wil as well.

Dumb goofy novelty song from a genuinely talented band
Fleming and John have such a large amount of talent that it tanks to have to sit by and watch them market a worthless novelty song as if it was indicative of their songwriting abilities. This is by far the weakest song on their album, with dorky background vocals, weak groove, and horrid lyrics. Especially horrible since they're supposedly a Christian band, which is supposed to tout love and grace, not judgmentalism, vanity, and shallowness. If they want to be succesful in the long run, they should push their A material, like the first track, "I'm so small."
