I see a few people complaining about the first ring being the "wrong way" or "upside down "This is by design to prevent wind knots and tangles when using braid predominantly.It works wellThe system is called a "low rider" and is in a lot of continental designs.Hope this puts some minds at rest.

I have received in a time. So , used it for long distance casting and could cast 190 m. Very perfect as I wanted. But unfortunately it is not available anymore or otherwise I would buy 2 more.

Well designed rod. Light and easyto transport. It is made easy fot long casts using heavy weights.

It's a nice rod used it once and the top eye fell apart. For that money you wouldnt expect that to happen no one to contact to get it sorted so a waist of 90 quid. Not even a replacement offered will not be buying from them again

For the price the rods are very well constructed, although just ensure you dry and apply a little silicone spray or oil to the chrome on the rings to prevent any rust, the rods are capable in the right of casting a very good distance, compared to other rods in the same price range, I bought two of the 14 foot rods and have taken them out around 15 times and have always caught fish. I normally fish along the Lincolnshire and Sussex coast

Arrived yesterday went to use it but one of the eyes is the wrong way round its upside down

The blank itself is brilliant. Half decent bite detection in the tip section and plenty of power throughout the rest of the sections. It casts like a dream and can put a lead a decent distance with an overhead thump. Now for the bad bit. After around half a dozen trips out I noticed some fluffing on my line. On closer inspection the top two eyes had small groves worn in by the line during retrieving. The ring liners are very very soft and just normal 18lb mono had cut into them like butter. I know this is not exactly a top end rod but you would expect ring liners to be able to do thier job. Could have been a brilliant bit of kit but let down by very poor quality liners. Sad really
