RedeckerBottle Brush with Wooden Handle - 30cm x 6cm

This is exactly the brush I’ve been looking for, for several months. I needed a brush that was small and flexible enough to clean inside the flask of my syphon coffee maker. The neck of the glass flask is 2cm diameter and quite fragile. This brush comfortably clears the opening and is flexible enough to be able to reach around the curved sides and clean it easily. The bristles are soft but firm and ideal for the purpose. I’ve been using a cheap foam brush with plastic handle for a few weeks and it’s a horribly poor alternative.This brush is also long enough to comfortably clean inside a standard wine bottle and would lend itself to a number of applications such as a wine decanter or narrow necked drinking flask.Quality from this brand is exceptional. I also own the larger bottle brush with all wooden handle which is too large for this application but useful elsewhere.The lack of plastic on this item and the quality of construction were also major selling points for me. I hope this has been useful.

I bought this not inexpensive brush as a replacement for an old Redecker bottle brush with the same measurements, but this one has some variations which make it next to useless for me. The wooden handle is thicker than the old bottle brush, which means you can't fit the handle into a bottle neck to clean right down to the base of the bottle. So it can only clean a small bottle up to 20cm (for comparison a wine bottle is about 30 cm). But small bottles have small necks, right? Yet this brush secures its bristles with a large wire knot which won't fit into small bottles unless they have very wide necks. Annoying.

Perfect for cleaning jars and bottles. Bristles are flexible but good for cleaning. The bristles must be horse hair as they're much softer than plastic. Backed up by how interested the cat is with it - woke up to find it had been dragged from the kitchen to the front door!

This works great on our Chilly water bottles.Love the way it looks, I don't mind it out on display!
