It is very hard to get my big farmer/mechanic husband to dress up but for a family wedding he settled on a utility kilt (he marches to his own drummer and everyone enjoys that part of him and would never dream of challenging his choices!) . He is a big size guy with more than ample calves and these socks fit very well. They did slip down but as my daughter in law observed "don't they all" sigh, but he just bent right over at the waist (yes, he had shorts on underneath, no commando going on) and pulled them up, folks having to dodge his big bottoms up self. too funny. He needs some garters for these for future use, but they worked just fine for the wedding. I machine washed and line dried them and they came out with minimum shrinkage.

Nice hoes fit nice and tight great quality. The fit is excellent, thick material.

Worth every bit of $12 how ever much it was.. it would have been better if they were less expensive but I had to have them sooner than any of the other KILT SOCKS would deliver .. that being said.. they are thick and very long.. my bf hasn't tried them on yet but I have already claimed them for when he's done with them because I love long socks and these are great!

Very nice socks to wear with a kilt. They fit as expected and are not scratchy. I do alot of cycling so have large calves and find that I tend to get only one or two wears of socks as the elastic stretches to much and then the socks bunch down. I have worn these socks 5 times now and they still look as good as when I first wore them.I would recomend these socks and have bought a second pair in black as well.

I like the pattern, but the socks are a bit small for my calves.
