We have been using air coolers more than ACs since a long time. After getting rid of those metal body desert coolers due to electric shock issue, we bought 3 Symphony products in the past 4 years (2 tower designs and 1 desert cooler). This year we shifted to a new place and I was browsing for a new cooler when this Havells product (Koolaire W51) caught my eye. Believe me, this is far better than Symphony in terms of build quality and product design (for its current price range).Yes it makes noise, all coolers do. It's fan speed is very high, water tank at 51 liters is decent for a 6-7 hour run. It comes with woodwool pads (I find them better than Honeycomb). Certain pros as compared to my Symphony coolers -1. Water outlet, to flush the tank, when you need to clean.2. Pads are not reinforced with screws so can be easily taken off for cleaning, repair, etc.3. Practical design, huge fan.4. No spilling of water through the air outlet.5. Easily useable wheels even with full load of water.6. Does 85% of the job that a metal body desert cooler would do if you use in a ventilated area and manage humidity by periodically switching off the water pump.Cons-1. No remote with this one.2. Pads are attached with plastic clippers so dont take them off frequently otherwise some clippers might break off.

Cooling in not efficient. And their is no any insect net . Frequently pad can be removed clips are very weak. Back pad is not remove able so it's very difficult to wash pads. I returned this product and bought Blue start cooler which is very efficient and cooling is ausome.

- good to buy if you're in the mild hot climate. (30-32 degree Celsius)- after 2 months of using it, I found there was a weird sound coming from the pump- require proper ventilation in your room.
