Works as described

works great on my vaio however I am used to a longer cord this one appears to be about 48" where my old cord was about 60" otherwise I'm happy with the purchase.

Have used it for several weeks and it works as I expected. It’s hard to get excited over a laptop charger that works ok and doesn’t catch on fire or anything. It just works 👍

the halves now come apart and require tape to keep it closed. Possibly this is due to heat expansion from prolonged usage? I noticed recently when unplugging the power cord (after several hours of use) that the case was getting uncomfortably warm to the touch. In my experience, this is a warning sign that the cord would need to be replaced.I had bought this cord to replace the OEM one that apparently just died of old age-no nicks, kinks or heat issues. The power cord is less than a year old and has never been used in a destructive manner. I was using this cord on an 11-year-old Sony VAIO (VGN-fw390) that still works fine. The laptop was plugged in 8-16 hours a day, five days a week for almost seven months (with the actual usage of about half of that time).It seems as if this power cord isn't capable of more than light usage for an extended period. I will be seeking a suitable replacement.

Worked well for my Vaio laptop who's power brick gave out recently. No complaints. Note that the socket for the power cable is 2 pronged instead of 3 prong as the original so you will not be able to reuse any of the old parts.

The last charger I purchased I had to hold a certain direction to charge . This charger I purchased now works great and charges fast.

Although, it is a generic product. It works well.

it works but not a tight fit in the socket itself
