The Boy's Poly Cotton Christening Baptism Romper with Pique Vest - Size XL (18-24 Month) was as cute as can be and exactly as the picture depicted. Light material, almost like a linen sheet-type material for the body and the vest was a soft tweed...both materials were soft and the stitching was with cotton thread. I will say that the material of the outfit is lightweight which was perfect for the hot days we have been having...but with that being said, if your child wears brightly colored underpants or printed diapers you may be able to see the pattern through the material, especially if the material is taught across the diaper area. So go with something light or white and you will be fine. The vest and the bow-tie are stitched to the outfit and are not removable or able to be pulled off, which alliviated any fear of riding up or being pulled off and choked on. The only reason I am giving this purchase a 4 out of five is the size. This does run a little small so if you are concerned with the size, go up one size. The baby this was purchased for is one year old, but stout and normally wearing 18 month clothing...this outfit JUST fit him. Overall a cute little outfit and great for the christening and pictures. Plus it was made in the USA!

I am so excited about this outfit! Forgive my long review, but I want to be as helpful as I can. My son is 2 months old and currently weighs 10lbs and is around 24 inches long. He's currently wearing 0-3 and some 3 month clothing, however I ordered this in size 3-6 months based on reviews. I'm glad I did as his baptism is November 23rd, and though it does fit a little large, the legs are just long enough to cover his legs. They looked like long pants, however I think the legs were intended to fit like shorts. It is quite baggy, but it fits appropriately around his neck, and is meant to be baggy. The leg holes are huge on him, though, but he has skinny legs. The hat is a tiny bit large but fits his head. As far as the style, it's totally adorable! It appears and feels well-made, and the collar and vest lay well. The bowtie is durable itself, however the attachment is flimsy. It's attached with 2 threads, sown on with maybe 3 rounds. I plan on reinforcing it with more thread just in case. Overall, it is beautiful and is very well-priced. I found it to be nicer than more expensive ones I had seen in Belk and comparable to ones in our baby boutique in town. I highly recommend this outfit!

I love this baptism outfit. It is a nice white color, well made and has very cute details. Was hard to find a boy's baptism outfit larger than 12 mos and that wasn't super plain. This one is a romper so all one piece (no riding up and keeps baby's tummy covered) and snaps underneath for quick diaper changes. Also buttons in back for easy on and off. Vest and bow tie are attached. Bottom half (diaper area) is thin cotton so print on diaper is slightly seen but my little one wore a plain white onesie underneath and then nothing showed through. My little guy is just starting to wear size 18 mos in Carter's brand clothing (22 lbs) and the 18-24 mos fit him perfectly so runs about 1 size small... I recommend sizing up when ordering. Lots of compliments and photographs nicely!

This outfit is adorable. My 4.5 month old just wore it for his baptism and we got so many compliments on it! It runs true to size...for reference, my son is just under 16 lbs and 25" long and the 6-12 month size fit perfectly. I would suggest putting a white onesie underneath, as it is pretty thin material and see-through. It also wrinkles horribly, but that's the fabric. I'm glad I didn't bother ironing it because the wrinkles only got worse after being in his car seat and held throughout the day. Otherwise, a wonderful outfit for a reasonable price!

Bought this for my 7-month old son, who is about 26in and 17 lbs. The outfit was a big hit, very cute! I had tried another outfit before this one, which wasn't all one piece - absolutely horrible. The outfit worked initially, but after just a few minutes I found myself constantly readjusting everything. So, the fact that this outfit is all one piece is worth it in itself. The bonus was that it actually breathed nicely.There were only two things that surprised me, but I should have known both: (1) I thought that the outfit's bottoms were pants, but they are really shorts; (2) it may not fit a boy who is much bigger, even though it says it fits till 12 months.Overall a great outfit and certainly better than anything that I found in the stores.

I ordered this along with two other baptism outfits for my little guy. I had a different one in mind that I was going to put my guy in, but the day of the baptism I decided on this one. The one piece and bow-tie / vest were so much cuter on than in the package. I only gave this four stars since the material isn't as nice as the other two outfits I had ordered. The decision between this one and the other one piece came down to the bow-tie/vest which the other one piece didn't have.

True to size I ordered $300 worth of christening outfits for my two week old son through amazon this was the ONLY one that was actually newborn size probably could fit up to a 10-12 lb baby my baby is 8lb 6 oz and it looks like it won’t be super baggy like the rest and I won’t have to alter it in any way, the new born size is more like shorts so I bought long socks for baby to wear with the outfit

We ordered this on short notice to have our 1YO baptised; received it within the requested time frame (thanks to Amazon Prime 2Day shipping) and it fit perfectly! I did not realize it was shorts, but it still looked adorable with the little vest and bowtie! We just wrapped a blanket around my son's legs while walking into church and it worked out wonderfully! The little hat is really cute too, and is not feminine looking like some of the other ones I have seen.I would recommend this product for a little boy's blessing - it is really adorable and seemed to be comfortable to my little one as well.
