Thomarairdry Car-Dehumidifier Ice Fresh, 1 kg

This is the second Thormar dehumidifier product purchased, after multiple regenerations of the original (unscented one) - and only after the original one split along the seam. Overall, I'm sold on Thormar dehumidifiers - they seem to work very well if they're regularly regenerated. That said, they can get a little dusty if left in place throughout the summer - and as I discovered, they can split more easily if left until the non-woven absorbent fabric top becomes saturated.Not recalling which flavour I'd originally ordered, (the item has no product code on it to make reordering easy) I hoped the Ice Fresh scent might rapidly diminish after opening; it doesn't. Some people - like my other-half quite like it - I find it waaaaay too overpowering in a confine space. So it's obviously a horse- for-course, Marmite kind of thing.

Fab product, arrived earlier than estimated too.No complaints, has cleared the windscreen nicely.

I purchased this in February of this year as my car is prone to condensation on the inside of the windscreen and being a shift worker I wanted to be able to start my car when I finished work and drive off without waiting for the heater to warm up. It manages to keep an area of the screen clear and I was prepared to put up with that BUT last night when I picked it up to remove it from the dashboard one end of the bag burst open spilling red sand like grains everywhere AND I mean everywhere so at 1130 I was hoovering it out of my carpets and dash areas.Not what I expected from a German made product that boasts the point I will not purchase another and recommend that you do not waste your money on this bag of .... well enough said

The Ice Fresh Fragrance is very pleasant inside the car, very good dehumidifier, does if work better than expected. The only cristisim I have is the drying out the dehumidifier, I have 2 of these and when I decide to dry them in-doors (they do take quite a time) the fragrance of the dehumidifier over-powers within the house and gives my other-half a headache.

Bought this as my car always seemed to have wet/steaming up windows. This has noticeably drawn moisture out of the car. I also popped in on a radiator after I noticed it had an almost damp feel ( also seemed heavier). Dried up quick and easy and straight back in the car. Good purchase.

Inside the car to help with condensation

Nice smell only seems to work for a couple of days and then stops working and I have to "dry it out" before using it again for a further couple of days etc. Not very impressed.
