Product is very nice and looks solid. Also Amazon gave me a great deal to get the product @ 1399 INR. Can't think anymore. By the way it's a genuine product. Thanks Amazon and hindware.

Good value for money.
Like others mentioned, there are QC or distribution issues that cause many significant scratches on these items. I first got one with quite a few and it was full of smudges (so it was definitely handled, perhaps returned by another customer), so asked for an exchange, and the new one too has some but decided to compromise as they were significantly less. It looks and performs good, but does have the problem that water stagnates on top of it (again, mentioned in another review). You can see a couple of small droplets in my picture and they were there even after I tried to wipe off with hand as the surface is quite flat. If they tapered the top flat portions slightly, water would slowly but surely drip. I have attached a couple of new pictures from an Uncle's bathroom that is using same type of model from Jaquar that shows what could happen in an year if the water droplets are left uncleaned. Nasty!NOTE: I have also included a few closeups of the scratches and smudges to give you an idea of why I asked for an exchange. The replacement didn't have the smudges and scratches were less in number and less significant so I settled for it.

Simply Superb!!!
Pros: More than expected. Too heavy and seems to be sturdy. Received today and erected too. No visible leakage, smooth operation, superb water flow.Now to watch it's durability. Hope it will work for 12 years so that I need not to run after the company for compliance of guarantee.Cons: Nothing as of now except poor packaging. There was no additional Amazon packaging over Company's box which was visible.

Good product but water remains on tap.
Good sturdy look. We used it for a counter top sink and the height of this tap is just right. The operation is simple and smooth. Though the water stays on tap due to exact horizontal plates. A slight curve would have helped to drain the water automatically.

Does not meet standards
The media could not be loaded. I purchased this few days back but for the last 3-4 days the tap has been leaking and water never stops completely. I even tried to tighten the screw but it still does not solve the problem

Serves the purpose
The only issue I found was the water flow could have been better..and there is always water marks on the tap..I guess the metal body should have been water repellent
