Charged from any USB charger. Supplied with plenty spare feather lures.I think this toy will give Thomas many hours of play, and me many hours of peace.

Update: friend came to visit and had tea with us today. She has 3 cats and was fascinated by this cat toy. She said it would save her from spending time playing with her cats. I impulsively offered to give this to her cats and I will buy another one. And that’s it. It’s gone! My kittens must hate me. I need to get another one soon. 😪 next time, think before you speak.I have two playful indoor cats. I don’t want them to get bored and lazy in the house so I have bought many toys to keep them entertained and exercised. They can play with some toys on their own, but since many toys just lie around the same old place for cats to paw, they easily get bored. But they never get bored with laser pointers and feathers. I love playing their favorite games with them. Hopping and running around can make them physically stronger. However, I have a job and a young daughter to look after so sometimes I find it hard to spare some time playing with my pets. While I searched cat toys on Amazon, I found this electric 2 in 1 toys combining laser pointer and feathers. This is what I need for my cats. And it’s not expensive. Red laser dots can satisfy cats’ hunting instincts and they never get bored at chasing them around. The little machine is space-saving small and easy to use. There are different modes to choose from so you can set different speeds and different patterns. The batteries last ages and I haven’t changed them yet after 2 weeks. Before I go out or am busy with my housework, I leave the device running on top of my coffee table (I noticed it works better when it is placed on the higher place) for a few hours. They are attracted by the moving red dots and colourful feathers straightaway and focus on it for at least the next half an hour. The red laser pointer and the feathers swirl in circles in different speeds and patterns. I think it will be more interesting if they could also go different distances and directions. This is my advice for their upgrading products.

Easy to charge and easy to assemble. My cat was quite curious initially, but once he got familiar with it, he started to play with it . He seems to have lots of fun! I wound recommend it to cat lovers. A great addition to the toy collection.

I got this so that my indoor world's laziest cat would be inspired to move more. It works! She now lays down next to it and waits for the laser or feather to come to her. I've noticed that she's getting great exercise to her front paws... too bad her belly remains as large as ever. Well she's happy, that's all that counts.

Both of my cats went crazy for this before I'd even turned it on. However, after the first few seconds, one of my cats got his claw stuck in the long metal stick with the tassel on the end (it has a metal clip to connect it, which is where his claw got stuck). The machine was set to fast and kept moving, hanging off his claw. He was scared of it for a few days afterwards and would hide from it - can't blame him!The stick also kept hitting my other cat in her face when she darted forward for the laser, and I was worried it could hurt her eyes.I've taken the stick out, and now they both love it. They'll just stare at it for 15 minutes, completely transfixed, or try to catch the laser. Either way, it captures their attention 100% when I'm busy doing something.It's worth noting that the laser dot only extends around 15cm from the machine, so if you're looking for a laser that will dart all over the house, this isn't it!

I have two young kittens who have what I would call scatty half hours and with this toy they really enjoyed it and tire them out and kept they're mad half hours confinedWell I also loved that it was not battery operated but a USB charger and once fully charged went the new toy is really kept them entertained on also kept this family entertained lots of laughs for us as a family.

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  I have 3 cats - one doesn't care for this toy, not as yet anyway, one loves to play with it for few mins each day, then gets bored and walks away, the third one cannot walk around it without stopping to play - she just loves this toy so much that I leave it on for most of the day for her. I think her record is 45mins continuous play! I have never known her to enjoy any toy this much.I'm so glad I decided to buy this model which includes both the feathers and laser light as one cat prefers the feathers, the other prefers the laser. The speed is suitable too, I usually leave it on the slowest setting which does the trick.Instructions say it should switch off automatically after 15mins - I find it runs all day until the battery dies. I'm fine with that as long as it continues to work. I also like the fact it comes with 3 other attachments which clip on - hopefully they will last.So far so good - had it only for few days so time will tell but it seems to have made my cats very happy, especially Lexie so that's thumbs/paws up!

It is a nice toy for a short time but there are a few issues. First of all one of the toys is laser, i am never a fan of laser because the cat is interested, tries to catch it but there isn't anything to catch. Second of all, it makes too much noise. It is meant to entertain the cat on its own while you are busy but it is so noisy that after 5 min, you can't tolerate it anymore. Lastly, I would have loved if it switched on with a timer while I am away. For example, it could run for 10 min every hour. Then it would be the perfect entertainment during the day while I am at work. Like this it becomes pretty purposeless.
