Molto Buona - De base
This is a simple book with simple words in Italian. Good for 1 to 5 years old learning words and to develop a bilingual ear.

Very Good for Teaching Vocabulary to Kids
I bought this book to teach my three year old some Foreign vocabulary words. The book has lots of colorful photos, all clearly labeled with English words and a phonetic pronunciation. The phonetic pronunciations are all pretty accurate, but there are some that are slightly off, but not enough to worry that you (or your child) is mispronouncing the word and saying something a native speaker would find embarrassing. If you have never studied the language of the book you are buying, be sure you are familiar with phonetic pronunciations like those you would find in a dictionary, or you might be frustrated trying to figure out exactly how to say the word.I bought the Russian, German, and Italian versions of this book, which is nice, because they all contain the same basic pictures and vocabulary. All are some of my three year old's favorite books.

I love love love this book
I love love love this book. Not only is it a great tool for teaching my children basic everyday words in Japanese, but it is helping me learn too! Thanks to this book, my girls learned the basic parts of the body in Japanese in about two days flat (and they are ages 3 and 4!) My only complaint is that I wish it were longer! I would love to see a second volume or another edition with even more words. All in all, a great teaching tool and a fun, colorful, engaging book.

Perfect! This is exactly what I was looking for. It has the picture of the object with the English and Italian word both listed. Great for you teaching your child a second language!!

Four Stars
Nice; has a couple of Italian errors, but all in all a nice book with dual vocabulary.

Not bad
We primarily speak Italian with our son (as it is my husband's first language). I was excited to purchase this book as it can be quite difficult to find Italian children's books in America; however, I was not overly impressed with the book. It was overly simplified but perhaps that was an error in my understanding of the product rather than a true criticism.

Beautiful Book!
Purchased for Nonno for Father's day to use with the grandkids. He loves it. I definitely checked all the words with my sister, and there aren't any problems. I wouldn't reccomend if you're family speaks a dialect and that's what you're hoping to teach? This book is the proper Florentine Dialect which is used in school and study in Italy. We're Le Marche and its pretty close. So no complaints here.

NOT a board book
The ad and description for this item says BOARD BOOK, which is one of the main reasons I ordered this over other options. It is in fact not a board book at all.I needed the board book style as my child is still young and the board books hold up better. This makes this gift essentially useless for me right now :( I’m so disappointed. I was very much looking forward to enjoying this book with her now, as she loves books and practicing her words. I was planning on ordering the other versions and now don’t trust the item descriptions.

Nonna approved!
Great gift for Grandchildren. Bright, colourful photos and everyday "kid" words, i.e. flower, ball, cookie etc.
