AT&T 146 DesignLine Telephone (Windchill White)

I bought the phone for my mom, who has trouble gripping things. She had a phone with the buttons on the handset, and would inadvertently press some of the buttons while holding the handset. This phone's handset is very lightweight, and has no buttons that could interrupt the call. The sound quality seems to be good as well.

Product was purchased to use in case of Hurricane failure of our portable phones. Product will only be used in case of emergency & not on a daily basis.

The handset on this phone is way too weird to use comfortably and the phone is so light that the base gets dragged around by the handset when you are using it. I like the AT&T 210 Trimline phones (which are supposedly discontinued, but easy to find on Amazon.com) much better.

I was looking for a well made "basic" phone. My husband is very hard of hearing, so it needed to be hearing aid compatable. This phone fit the bill. He can turn up the volume without loosing the quality of the sound.

Phone is fine however it came with no directions for using the memory or anything. I asked the seller and got no response. I tried finding it on AT and T thought I could copy or purchase a manual. Not at all listed. So I figure it is just for answering. Too bad I might have purchased moreLinda

It's a challenge to find a corded phone that is light-weight AND has the keypad on the base rather than on the receiver. This phone meets both criteria. It's a nice phone for the money.

Very clumsy seeming. I returned it without even opening it.

Replaced what I had (old) with this identical one - perfect fit, I feel at a great price, and quality made. Also, received it quickly.
